You're right, I didn't really expound much on that point. What I found hypocritical was the fact that you pointed out many of kenwan's flaws presumably on the high ground, but sinking to his level anyway by taking it as far as you did (as you have admitted). So pointing out kenwans flaws concernedly... and then stooping to a lower level yourself and behaving opposite to what YOU had been trying to present... see the connection? Hence the reason I suggested you were just as bad. Nonetheless, you've either missed the entire point of my previous post that consisted of only two lines or you're ignoring it. Hint: the second line Won't make an altogether new post, so i'll put it here. You're a hypocrite. I don't know how you had the tenacity to call kenwan a hypocrite when you yourself are guilty of the same charge. What began as a seemingly innocuous post of concern soon morphed into what you saw as an opportunity to rip him to shreds with a deliberate overuse of the quote function to point out not only his personal flaws, but even flaws in his arguments - that could easily have been overlooked. You picked at every detail you could find - there was nothing interesting about what you had to post and certainly not enlightening on the part of the recipient. If you had truly wanted what was best for kenwan you would never have carried on in the condescending manner that you did. You acted as more of an incendiary than a concerned member of the community through your litany of completely unnecessary and vastly lengthy posts. You attempted to 'enlighten' him by behaving immaturely and argumentatively, even after stating that you would refrain from further comments. Not only did you forfeit your image of a concerned individual of the community with your last past on kenwan's profile, you portrayed yourself as a child. I know that ken has caused quite some trouble in the past (and he will be the first to admit to this) but I believe that he is genuinely attempting to behave in a mature and positive manner, but even this has its limits when you find someone posting incessant garble on your profile with a veil of concern. As stated earlier, your original post may not have been a veil, but this image disintegrated shortly after. Kenwan asked that you not post on his profile as he didn't even know you, why is that so bad? Why is it so difficult to respect that wish? Respect is, after all, what the ja is built upon to begin with. I agree that the description at the top of his profile was a little attention-seeking, but you used that to your advantage for reasons stated above. Not knowing how to behave in a relatively new community (for kenwan at least) is one thing, but knowing how to do so and continuing contrary to that which is expected is quite another.
