Bah, I screwed up. I picked the name Kain to derive from 'Cain' - a biblical character who was 'on the light side' but turned and betrayed his brother (and God). All of this has meaning that I wanted to play into the story...of who Kain is. SW has a lot of themes that come from the bible (though in no way does it encourage the bible's teachings - anti-religious flame disclaimer), and I wanted to keep with that style. |
