That sucks. It probably needs OS security and protection, since that's the only way I can think of somebody hacking into it and deleting a database. The machine it's hosted on probably needs all types of transfer protocols disabled, except HTTP. Trust me, I'm really no professional at that at the moment, so what I say certainly isn't from experience, perhaps just overhearing people and thinking it out a bit. Anyway, do you have an MSN address? It'd be nice to talk about it there. I may be able to find some information about bumping up the security and protection on sites. |
