Hey, You can use dialup your ping will be high but you can still play. Do you use MSN or any instant message service? If you do that is the easiest way I can help you to do stuff. But you can give it a try too. Go the the Servers Menu on the website. Click onto the jk3-home server link. Download the map called the Official Academy map v2, listed under the server description. It may take a bit of time with your dialup connection, but be patient. Unzip the map the place the pk3 file in your /gamedata/base folder for the JA name. If you have trouble finding this message me. Then write down the IP address and password of the jk3-home server listed. In the JK:JA game go to join game, select 'new favorite" from the menu at the bottem and add the IP address of the server. Double-click a the server when viewing the favorites list, ender the password and you are ready to play. Have fun, if you need more help just message me. - The NPC Room is an area in the official Academy map. - IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat, which is a chat room you can use to chat! - I'm sure you've heard of Modifications before. Well, this is when somebody legally hacks into the game's files to edit and change stuff, so that they can release it as what we call, a modification (or mod for short).
