I was angry at some other stuff and I apologize that I took it out on you. imo FFA's are for fun, and I tried some spins and even kicked my sens up a notch to spinaroonie all over the matrix ..Just thought you wouldn't take it as if I'm breaking some 'rule' we have about dueling our own ways?  It was my fault that it went to badmouthing, and I didn't mean what I said. Stupid, childish, and the lot.. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me for theese past few days, but a guy here has really been playing around with me and that's why I've been close to exploding so many times. Besides that, this is my 12th day of not smoking, trying to quit that shit now.. This 'phase' will pass eventually, but atm the only thing I can do is to try and calm myself down not just before I go on the servers, but in there aswell.. Well since this game isnt really well made, the borderline between "what the developers intented to" and "general bugusing" is rather elusive. None of us can really tell what definitely is a bug in this game and what not. Some people get confirmation about their theories by beeing able to observe the same techniques in jk2. Thing is though, jk2 itself wasnt perfect neither, since spinning was present there as well. Seemingly spinning is an "unfixed", bugged leftover from jk2 which somehow made its way into jk3, amongst other things >_> From what i can tell, the techniques which are considered exploits, usually give the user an advantage without forcing him to put much effort into it. All the known bugs like saber-animation freezing delays, ground-butterflies, fast stance switching in duals and that sort of things, arent even close to be as frowned upon as things like spinning or poking are. The reason is simple: they dont give you enough of an advantage to be considered "annoying" or "bugusing". Anyways, the easiest way to explain why i personally think that thing you call "extension" is perfectly fine is, to compare it with a similiar technique; virtues beloved almighty advancing scissor. The advancing scissor is theoretically a bug just like all the aforementioned things. Its absolutely not frowned upon since it doesnt fit into the "less effort=more dmg" equasion AND has a "sloppy" and easy-to-use equivalent of itself which is considered a bug; the sway. Now, the thing both techniques have in common is, they make your character advance. If you sway (not spin or poke, huge difference) in any stance besides red, you WILL automatically move forward whilst doing it. Just as the advancing scissor makes you move forward whilst swinging. The main difference between the two is, the advancing scissor takes a lot...a lot more effort to learn and master then swaying. Infact, swaying doesnt require any skill nor effort in order to be effective. In comparison with swaying, the advancing scissor doesnt boost neither your outgoing damage nor your defense as that much, which makes it a perfectly "legit" and "fair" bug. Now, the very same principle works for aiming and its "sloppy", bugged, easy-to-use equivalent; the poke. In comparison with poking, aiming doesnt neither boost the outgoing damage sky high, it doesnt make your swing "unpenetrable" for normal swings, it requires a lot more precision, timing, practice and effort to master and it doesnt give you too much of an advantage to be considered "general bugusing". Most people in the JA just solely hate aiming because it works the same way as poking. Most of these people also seemingly fail to see the link between advancing scissors and swaying.
