| MOTREC's "So you want to be a knight " class | ||

you will learn what it takes to become knight, what is entailed in being a knight, and how to use admin on the servers. What i expect from anyone who wishes to attend this class... 1) You are extremely well behaved. If you just cant seem to keep your hands off your keys during a class then dont sign up for this one. 2)You show up for class ON TIME and ready to go. if you are more than 10 minutes late you will not be let in to the class. 3)As this class is about knight duties and so forth you will be given a "temporary" login password. this will be changed at the end of my class to prevent miss use of admin abilities. 4)I fully expect you guys to leave this class with a better understanding of what our current knights go through on a DAILY basis, what you will need to do to actually be considered for knighthood, and a better respect for those who are JAK+ currently. there will be more to come as far as these things go but i know for a fact that anyone who shows up for this class will possess the maturity and common sense to make it through this class with out incident. if you have any questions or concerns either post them here or ask either ozzcoz, carda jowol, raider, or sfire what goes on in this class as they were the ones i tested it out on. thank you guys and plz remember this class will not "fast track" you to being a knight. it is designed to give you the knowledge you need to make knight and to be a knight. This class is no longer in session. |

Let me try and clear this up: Students will have Temporary knight access at some of the classes where knight commands will be covered. MOTREC, and any other JATs that are assisting him at the time will have Trainer access, which gives them more commands and allows them to control anyone who misbehaves. If someone did manage to kick anyone/everyone from the server and keep them out (which I doubt they would be able to) then JACs and other staff members still have access to RCON so that they could regain control of that server, and ban the offender. And anyone who acts up in this class would have to be a moron, as they will most likely get a permanent ban from the academy, immediatly. _______________ A wizard did it. |

I'm not particuly one to take on a responsibility such as becoming a knight so I don't think I'll be attending this class. but the thing I wonder about is it possible for people that know their admin stuff to get in on this class, become admin wit the temporary password and then hijack the server by kicking people out and changing the server? I'm not really familiar with all of this. but I guess whoever hosts the server can handle it right? |

this class isnt full yet so sign up if you want to come i just wanted to add one more thing. if you feel your at an intermediate level you are more than welcome. if you dont know then come to the class and find out. *NOTE please get teamspeak so i may use voice chat for my class. if you dont know how to the get on irc and someone will help you. if you cant put teamspeak on your machine then post here and let me know that you cant. i like to voice chat this class cuz theres so much to get in a short amount of time.
