Wee, and i were almost sure. *sigh* It should be a valid answer.
Lemme think this through: I have no beginning, I do not end; *check* A ring has no beginning and no end. I can be warm, I am cold; *check* A ring normaly forged out of metal is cold, if you wear it, it gets warm though. I imprison, I surround. *check* It surrounds the finger at least, and I still think it can imprison. A marriage is not a imprisonment per se, but you are bound to the other person. Heavy I am, but light as well. *check* Sometimes it can be a burdon sometimes it can lift the spirit A fist may not find use for me, *check* You can't put a ring on if you make a fist. I am male, I am female, *check* If i got back to wedding rings... hmm not quite correct here I encircle, I bind. *check* Can be an emotional bind, or phyiscally for the finger. I have no ending, I do not begin *check* well right here definitly Okay it could be a ring, but not with all the lines in the riddle. So I'd guess it's something your can't lay your hand on, which is always there... I need some more time. While u mull over this try mine: What can bring back the dead; make us cry, make us laugh, make us young; born in an instant yet lasts a life time.
