This so called "n00bstick" business is getting out of hand, and it's time to show these "bad boys" that the time of the single has ended! Rise up, and put these dogs to sleep! Hahaha, my clanmates actually nickname me "noobstick", and I even made that my CTF name (NuB_StiK, actually) . But where I consider this nothing more than a good joke which is worth a laugh or a giggle, some see in this a reason to persecute and hunt down hundreds of staffers, as we speak, depriving them from the <3 and the duels they require for an adecuate physical and mental balance, and driving them to the single saber side *shocked gasp in the audience*. Staffers, unite! Help your fellow brothers by sending funds to the Jedi Academy Staff Comitee, or by buying our "I <3 noobstick" Tee-Shirts and mugs! All the money received will be spent on education of single stance users to create tolerance and unity in the Jedi Academy community! Actually...i always thought that the staff has been created for defensive purpose only... Thats because ppl who circle the opponent forever and wait till he finishes his combo and rush him after that, are giving me the most headaches...its just so boring...but it works quite well... And yea ive been using staff when i first played jk3 in MP too...until some single guy came and destroyed me with red...i didnt knew that single would actually be so strong and i couldnt kill him with staff back then. I started JA with a noob stick. The wiser and more experienced JA players, know that staff is not a noob style and that it can be a very effective weapon. If I was to face your staff Gradius, I'd be cautious and on my guard but I have to say that 90%+ of staff users don't know how to use it properly. The staff is built purely for offense and I wouldn't try to use it to counter. Still I know a few staff masters who give me a hard time in duels. Well i actually respect staff users... It takes much more then just button-smashing to actually score some ppl...and i dont think that single is kinda better or something... I think the reason why so many ppl prefer single instead of staff or even duals is that you could play with singles only in jk2... And i think that the reason why ppl call staff a "nubstick" is because you can just randomly and without any tactics attack and still be a danger to even experienced ppl...but like i said before...it takes actually more then just button-smashing to score ppl =) Im gonna represent single and if anyone feels like kicking some single a**es then let me know...but treat those with respect that treat you with respect _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here!
