Welcome to the Academy. :)

So, yeah, there are classes and servers which you can play on, learn on, and practice on etc.

The academy teaches two games: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. Although JKII is not played often, and there are no classes for it as of now, there are still servers for it. So, when you visit this page, servers starting with '[JA]' are JKII servers, and the rest are JKA servers.

I just thought I'd point that out. :D

yes, welcome :) and be sure to read the rules

if you really wish to teach, there's nothing stopping you from sharing your knowledge of the game with people on the server. assuming they want the help of course :) most everyone is quite open and friendly, so just stick to the rules and have fun! see you on the servers!

edit: oops, i kinda repeated what Squib already said :P anyway, yeah the road to JAT is probably a bit longer than what you might expect, but if you help out a lot of people, then you never know. they all might bang down the gates to make sure you get reccomended for knight or trainer. :)

honor and respect are some of the most important values here at the JA, that's usually part of what we teach as well :)

Ok well first of all Welcome to the Academy :)

Related to your seeking a master check out this part of the holocron.
As for being a trainer here it is not solely based on game skill, alot more goes into the decicion for who to get promoted such as attitude, Experiance, hounor, how helpful you are, if you are active or not etc etc. (of course game skill is also needed).
i'm not saying that this shouldn't be your goal just you must realise that it is only a rare few that will ever attain the position and try not to be disapointed. It takes many months or possibly years.

From here you generaly should go to the Home or Wireplay servers and meet some people. This is generaly the best way to meet potential masters and make good friends.

there are also schedualed classes avaliable at certain times. It is not compulsory to attend any but if you wish to improve your skills this would probably be the place to start :)

You should expect to have advice offered to you and feel free to give training to others at any time. You do not have to be a trainer to teach. the Academy welcomes student - student teaching and encourages it (though its polite to ask someone if they require help first :))

Again Welcome to the Jedi Academy. I hope you enjoy your time here
