Okay. Let's do the elimination thing here... First off, Kenyon: Don't play your little mind games with me, they've never worked. If you feel that you don't have to "deal with it" because you "don't play anymore" or whatever the hell that was about, then why do you feel the need to stick your nose into this thread? If you want to hang out in our community, you obey our rules, so yeah - Deal with it. To everyone else. I would like to point out that the comment I made in my first post on this thread was directed at laming as a whole within the JA and I stated the fact that if you make light of it, then people will think it's okay. I made no comments directed at Spat Sniper's actions or original post other than telling him that I respected him for coming forward and apologising. Fact: The situation with Spat Sniper was not a big deal. The rules arn't there to be questioned, they're there to be followed. If you disagree with me or our rules, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. You guys got any problems, don't bicker about them on a public JA Forum. Come to me. However, they don't complain when they're killed, mostly because it IS a game. Like I said before, it shouldn't be tolerated, but people shouldn't get angry over it. I am critizing them because they are taking the situation out of its context (that of a very small accident) and turn it into something about laming on purpose. That's not what the first post is about; it's not what Kain or Squibit were talking about either. You can go Mr. Rules on me all you like - I'm pointing out the truth of the matter, which is that some people here are jumping the gun. I should point out one thing. If you got lamed, or was killed while typing, or while AFK in any other game, you wouldn't care. Just treat JK3 like any other game, and you'll be fine. |

Well, i mean it's not going to affect you alot. You'll just respawn, hardly anything to be annoyed about? Well, I've gotta be honest - I really wouldn't like to return to my keyboard to see that I've been lamed, killed, or whatever. If it's the odd joke or accident, then it's okay. But depending on the type of situation, depends on how annoyed you'd probably be. |
