For the past 2 weeks, I've been receiving countless complaints from students about others. These include complaints of laming, swearing, NPC spamming, general disrespect, etc. Obviously, there aren't enough JAK+ around yet to handle with these situations. This is beng worked on. In the mean time, it is expected that each and every one of you follow the rules completely. This especially goes for the older students. One's who have been here for a few months and more. This is the only warning I'm giving. If I find any disregaurd for our rules, there will be no more future warnings. It is getting out of hand folks, alot of you need to grow up and realize we ARE taking this seriously. For EVERYONE at the JA, consider this your first, second, and third warnings. Anything further is administrative action. These rules are in place for a reason, and NOBODY is higher than them, not even the JAK+. I'm sorry that it had to come to this once again folks, and that I have to end up being strict again. You all know it's the last thing I want. Yeh when i got back onto the servers i was like "yay i'm gonna meet all the cool people who respect each other" instead, i saw "pff you have no jedi skills, you suck" "come watch me if you wanna see a good player." What really shocked me was when i asked the person how long they had been here (just out of interest, was the topic of convo at the time) she responded with "long enough to have achieved l33tness" now normally thats just a funny response, but she was dead serious and even worse, dead disrespectful to all on the server. Doesn't seem like much, but I never realised one thing that we strived for was "l33tness" but ah well. _______________ JK2 pwnz0rs JK3. |

Strict is needed at times just make sure the person knows why your being strict. Some credit to the students is in order. Back in my day it was far worse than it is now. People are actually forming lines at the door. That never happened. I see people being a lot more respectful than before. Being back these past five days I’ve only seen two incidents. That’s a huge improvement. My praise goes out to those few in charge though as what fewer incidents we have here must be overwhelming. ok guys, i've spoken to Gradius and, after that talk, i fully understand what he goes through. You guys gotta give him a break. You all think that when a JAK+ is present u have to mess around BECAUSE u want him to do his job...or atleast, thats what i see when i rarely go on the servers...come on guys, just keep it 'smooth'. You gotta go up to people you otherwise like and have to get them in line. It never feels good. I just can't understand people who want to stir the pot just for the hell of it. Btw, while we are all ranting, it's always really depressing to see former JAK+ ignoring the rules they used to enforce themselves. It always makes me wonder what changed and made being a good person less important to them. I'll leave it at that  . |

So I'm with you all the way Grad, be strict man why not There are a lot new students I've noticed lately, some are pretty awesome (by my standards) duellers, and we don't really want to give them a bad impression. I think a strict time is indeed called for if all of the things you say are going on are true. A fun factor should be involved but when stuff gets out of hand, then rules should be enforced. Comeon guys, keep it fun (: |
