Sorry if this is the wrong section to be posting this, but I am starting to lose a battle in my mind and losing sanity (dont worry im not skitso franic or whatever it is called) My mind thinks multiple ways at once, and I am use to being rejected at school and not being liked, but when the few friends I have seem to abandon me, it really hurts. God has been gracious and keeping my mind stable, but it is nice to know that there are some humans out there who actauly care. meh.. dont like paintball, and the thing i mentioned about friends isnt really effecting me much, im more worried about him. If I never met him he would of already commited suacide.. and now he won't let me reach him. Anyhow the post before Motrec's post, yes I could appear to have missed the point, but its hard to nto needlessly worry, I wish I could and honeslty find it stupid of me to needlessly worry, but its pretty hard not too, especially when all your mind does is thinkign day dreaming, distracting you. Oh and motred I only wish i could use other emotions to fuel me to get my work done, but it only does the exact opposite for me. I actauly try venting anger into tears because I do not want to hurt anybody. as i read this and think, one phrase just keeps coming to mind, "that which does not kill us makes us stronger" which means anything that life throws at you, you must use to your advantage even if its bad. you have people who make fun of you? use that as fuel to do better in school so you can move on to an awesome college carreer and in turn move on to a great job making a but load of money. now money isnt everything i know but it sure helps you when you wanna relax on the beach at maui. you need to ride on your OWN steam so to speak. I have always taught my kids that they set their own path in life and if they pick up friends along the way while their young, thats great, but if they dont then dont worry and the friends will come later. You want support from the ja members? well thats easy everyone here supports everyone else here. we are almost like family with gradius being that the annoying little brother thats always pulling his sisters hair.  you dont have to start a thread for support, you already have it. all you have to do is just have a convo with someone here as most everyone here is a positive person.when your young, dealing with the social pressures of wanting to be popular and have lots of friends is just a charade thats masking an underlying issue, and that issue is "insecurity". this problem is easy to overcome, just tell yourself that your just fine and everything is cool or what ever it takes to make yourself feel better. otherwise you could end up dealing with a nuerosese (prolly spelled that one wrong ) and that wouldnt be fun. FFS HAVE FUN! having fun and smiling is easy if you give it a shot. if these people who you thought were your friends are not acting like your friends right now...maybe find out whats up with them, i mean they might point out something youve been missing. but maybe plan something fun you and these friends all like doing together. paintball is loads of fun and you get to shoot someone in the butt with a high velocity paint projectile i mean this is like fun in a can!  getting picked on at school is hard and noone likes being singled out. i understand this, but sometimes we do things that calls unnecessary attention to ourselves or not the "right" attention to ourselves. take your time with trying to make new friends. dont try so hard just relax. if they like you they will be your friend. Ok look obviosly i didnt realy state everythign oing on in my posts (the thinking about what im thinking is no big deal, just makes it really hard to focus on school work) The main problem is support by people... that is probally at least 50% the problem of all my problems. I do not worry about waht im going to eat, I dont worry about what im going to wear or anything silly like that. I can no communicate well is the bottom line. I can't go up to someone an say hi and have a conversation, if someone goes up to me and says 'hi' I can not take them seriosly. If things are as bad as you think or say they are, try and find support from people who know how to give it. When I've been ill I've gone to a Chaplin who I trust and I've gotten out of the slumps, some times it is ok to ask for help from people who can give it to you. We all have times when it all seems out of control (I know I do), but no matter what's happening right now, things WILL change. However alone you might feel, there are still a lot of Good People in the world, everywhere you go. You've made friends here at the Academy (no-one would've replied to this if we didnt care and you'll have more in the future. As long as try to do the right thing by people, and don't hide your self away - there's no telling who you might meet tomorrow and where it might lead. If you focus on the negative in life, it will surround you - Concentrate on the positive in yourself and in others, and you will bring it out. Above all, try to enjoy every day as much as you possibly can because life is too short to waste time feeling bad about things you have no control over. Dude... When you are thinking about how you think.. dont worry about that .. i do it to... If you think your skitzo thats your reason... in your mind you think... ITs not normal to think aobut how you think about what you think... thats not normal so im not normal....whats wrong with me.. you go from there thinking there is somthing wrong with you so you start going through your mind of what could be wrong with you... from here you would start beling you have that problem... but i get from your post that your not that far on the path yet... I am working on going to collage and majoring in psychology (Darn my not being able to spell) and would like to talk to you one on one to get a better look inside your mind.. i think i can help and know what might be wrong... but i need to talk to ya.. It way more complicated than that. It has to do with responsablity, and its not neccesariyl beign dropeed, ts realyl confusing. The friend I currently have in mind has chaos in his mind praticly, and his old house literaly was haunted by a demon. Supposedly I get on his nerves now and he wont answer my phones calls and all that. Besides im definately not being dropped by friend's' because i hardly have any to beging with and because of my past it is not like I just find new friends. i am socially challenged in a sense. Some times i catch my self thinking abotu how im thkning about what im thinking about. I just needed to post this, and if a few people said somethign it would be great, but any advice you have posted has already gone through my mind a long time ago. ( Im going to really have to disagree about life being a roller coaster. ) Oh all i wanted was some people to say that they cared really, I know life will go on, in fact I pray for not just my friends but for my 'enemies'. As Grad said. Life is a Rollercoaster. You'll feel like ur on top of the world day and on ur way down the next. Think of it this way. How you deal with these problems now, will determine how you decide to deal with your problems in the future. You'll do fine m8. Besides if your "friends" are dropping you, do you think they were really ur friends? Real friends don't do that. I have a Best Friend of 13 years and we've never once fought. I would die for him and his dauhters. The only person that needs to accept you, is you. Things will work themselves out m8.
