dun feel attacked, an attack is if i tell Mastz00r 2 stfu go home and go take a shower, which i wont do consideirng he seems very intimidating in flame war wise. anyway for the tags i rlly dun see much wrong wit it. i only c sumthin wrong when that person starts flaunting it and calling other ppl n00bies 4 having no tags OR when clan members yell each other across the server 2 get the tag back on/off. if u dun like it its basically too bad, u revolve arund the world not the other way round, as Mastz00r said it'd b like telling ppl fashion tips on the street. i dun wear my tag simply cause it has little use here. as if any1 would b interesting 2 join Real anyway, i havent once met any1 on the academy in requested 2 join ANY clan. so 2 wrap it up, u shouldnt rlly care that much about tags unless rival clans decide 2 pick up the scrap inside the academy. in my case i'm safe becuz no SBH member would ever come here considering they're all siegers with no intention 2 use and no skill at all wit a saber. which gives me a delicious edge over them in korri EDIT: and in no way was i supposed 2 hit at ya Mastz00r... Well you did state your opinion and we all respected that, since noone told you to shut up or anything like that. You wanted to hear others opinion as well and thats what we all did, we stated our own opinions. Most of the ppl didnt agree with you which is a completly normal thing in such a huge community with so many different personalities. Just wanna point something out here... The JAS and JAP tags are not official, they were actually invented by Students back in the JK2 days. The only tags that are official in the JA are JAK, JAT and JAC (and yes, I do realise that I have left JAM out of this). And they are official as they serve as a badge to let people know that a JAK+ is present if someone needs help with something. So just to be clear, there is technically no such thing as a JAS/JAP tag in the respect that it is not endorsed by the JA - again, they were invented by the Students and are, of course not a requirement in any way. - Virtue.  _______________ Academy Architect |

Im not saying I like clan tags in the JA, but we have diffrent rules here for example: We dont have a rule that says that people must use there game name on the server. Why should it bother you if someone is wearing a clan tag or not? The ja is a clan neutral area, fine. I was under the impression that no recruiting of any kind was allowed, and that clan matches would not be played on our servers. If you're gonna stop people from wearing clan tags altogether, you're getting a bit too sensitive. So what if your clan tag is 95% of your name and has strange characters? Is it really hurting your gaming experience that someone has a weirdo name, and you're going to change the rules simply because you find it 'annoying'? Come on. If the name is causing some kind of lag every time they connect as a result of using strange characters that even the server doesn't recognise or something, that's a different story. I don't see why you would risk being a victim of prejudice and/or disliking simply because you wear a clan tag. I know for a fact that the ja isn't filled with a bunch of hollow individuals who can't see past a person's clan tag - we treat each person individually and reward/punish them based on their actions, not what clan they belong to. I have a problem with people using special characters and ligatures because in 9/10 of the cases, they just think it looks cool, and thus have NO idea they're using real letters. Real letters that almost always change the pronunciation completely, and makes no sense whatsoever to a native speaker of a language with the ligatures. Also, what business is it really of anyone else if I want to use my clantag, BS, on the servers? As long as I'm not recruiting or dissing rivalling clans (though I doubt I could manage to find a rival clan around here at all..), why is it a problem? Does this "clan neutral" mantra also mean you can't even mention clans in conversations? Only times they get annoying, are in the cases I described earlier, and when they take up 95% of the name... |

Why does it annoy you guys that ppl are playing on the JA servers with their clan tags on? Why are tags so bad? I dont understand why you take offence in someone wearing a tag, especially when the JA has its OWN tags. We are clan neutral ground and i think the admins did a really good job to enforce this.
