OK, I need your input!!! Would anyone be interested in a Mon Cal Race and actually use it? I'm referring to the link 13 gave. Do you guys like the current Palpatine or want it replaced with the darth_sidious skin from ct_palpatine? Or have both (which I dont like). The Jaden add ons are nice. I dont think the Emperor skin is that great and I'm putting in the old one for those ppl. The metallic Grievous looks nice but skinpack size is getting to be a problem so I'll just have to leave that out (had an invisible cape too  ) About the female models, I'm going to add just one and it will be Bariss Offee. I've consulted with some females about those models today heh. Thanks for the suggestions 13. I just hope there will be enough space for those expansions. mabie test this pack for a half decent jaden add-on. also i like this reskin of the grevious model... it has the metallic texture that makes the model look more... real Anyone who likes very cool female models check out the 3 duces wild sets on PCgamemods. erm i think this is a good sideous for those of you who dislike the current one. There maybe a command for the non cape boba model. I believe I'm going to take off the Ki moot fisto skin, if you have any complaints about this, speak now! The problem with people's individual skins, if we start allowing people to have their own personal skin on the servers, everyone will want their own on the servers too. Therefore, we can't put your skin in Saz, even though it does look nice About this whole pk3 editing business. A lot of the pk3s have multiple skins and we don't necessarily want each skin we see in the pack. It also crowds out a lot of skins in the selection screen. So, we edit the pk3s to have only the models people have requested or we see used on the servers. It has come to our attention that a lot of ppl like those fisto skins, so that may stay relatively the same. On the other hand, a possible solution to this pk3 editing could be to either rename the files. For the errors we are currently getting, Proximo came up with the idea of just bunching all the fixed files into one pk3 and those fixed files will overwrite the current ones. However, this fix, I believe, could not restrict which models we wanted in the pack. I could just put all the skin folders into one pk3, hmmmm, that would be different, I'll have to look into it. Anyways, thats why we have this whole predicament with file overwrites. Either ppl will have to use up extra HD space for the repeat files, not overwrite the files in the first place (making them unable to see those certain skins b/c they wont have the right pk3), overwrite them, or just put all the skins in the reloaded folder (however, if a server does not use JAR in the JA, and I can think of one, you won't see the skins then). I like that skin too. However what i dont like the fact that we are editing the origonal .pk3s to only include some models... then you cannot have the whole pk3 as downloaded from any site and still have it work on the JA servers... I guess thats no big deal but id rather have it so anyone could download the skins individually from jk3files or pcgamemods OR download the whole pack at once... dunno w/e C'MON HAPSLASH FINISH UR EPIII PACK!!!! lol _______________ It's a false hologram, it IS artificial... |
