Dear Jedi friends,
Something amazing has happened to me, and I want to share it with all of you. I was fired from my job, bright and early, Monday Morning, promptly at 11:37am.When I recieved the letter, that was neatly printed out and signed by my boss, I laughed out loud and got the biggest grin on my face. See, in the corporate world, if you quit a job, because you want to retain some digity, you in turn, loose any type of federal compensation, let alone any extra money from the company that you didn't want to work at in the first place. This happened at every other IT job I've had, for the past 5-7 years. I quit for dignity, and lost my extra money and paid-federal-unemployment money, just to save face, and stand up for what I believed in. Monday morning, I FINALLY waited long enough, to NOT quit a job, and they fired me. Oh it was glorious, I was so happy, I forgot to ask why they were firing me. I still don't know. I left the office for the last time that morning. I walked outside, and took a deep breath of fresh 75degree weather, and felt the sun hit my face. It was a beautiful day, and it was the first nice warm Monday we have had since last spring. I hopped in my car, rolled down my windows and drove home to hop right online for some Jedi action. It was glorious! My goodie bag from my old company includes 1 additional paycheck that I didn't work for, a $1400 check, and unemployment from the government for about 6-8 months. Now I know loosing a job isn't funny for most people. But in my situation everything worked out just as I wanted it to. I was about to resign from the company, and I was late that morning working on my resignation letter. Which is mostly why I really got those 2 extra servers up last week, I was going to quit. But now I dont have to! It looks like my patience has FINALLY paid off! So thank you for all being nice to me and apologising for being fired, but I would rather have everyone laugh and enjoy it as much as I am, and not feel bad or think this is any type of burden. After this week on vacation, I'm going to start working from home, doing something I love to do, and I'll be able to play jk2 more, and enjoy my life once again! 3 cheers for my idiot ex-boss!! hooray! hooray! hooray! Congrats Hux! I'm unemployed at the moment myself, but at least you have some steady $$$ coming in. I'm just picking up PC repairs 1 at a time. I'll never be Bill Gates this way, but I can't find (nor do I really want) anything F/T. I could go work in NYC, but to me the commute is not worth it (at least 2hrs each way, most of it sitting in traffic)

Well m8......congrats I guess. I know what its like when you finally have no responsibilities (another long word by me, another 5 points)after having so many commitments for a long time. Its like being a kid in the summer holidays again when you've got no homework
For you kids out there, you may think school is bad but it gets a hell of a lot worse. I mean obviously the girls get more attractive but thats hardly the thinking of a true jedi is it.
