Here is a few lines I picked from Eminem´s lyrics from the song Mosh.... Read them.. At least one american found a way how to open eyes of some people... And post similar types of high puplic protests :)

Stomp, push, shove, mush, Fuck Bush, until they bring our troops home (c'mon)

Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us
Mosh pits outside the oval office
Someone's tryina tell us something,
Maybe this is god just sayin' we're responsible
For this monster, this coward,
That we have empowered
This is Bin Laden, look at his head noddin'
How could we allow something like this without pumping our fists
Now this is our final hour
Let me be the voice in your strength and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify the times it, and multiply by six...
Teen million people, Are equal at this high pitch
Maybe we can reach alqueda through my speech
Let the president answer a higher anarchy
Strap him with an Ak-47, let him go, fight his own war
Let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil
No more psychological warfare, to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes its all lies
The stars and stripes, they've been swiped, washed out and wiped
And replaced with his own face, Mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you know why,
Cause I told you to fight.

And as we proceed,
To Mosh through this desert storm,
In these closing statements, if they should argue
Let us beg to differ
As we set aside our differences
And assemble our own army
To disarm this Weapon of Mass Destruction
That we call our President, for the present
And Mosh for the future of our next generation
To speak and be heard
Mr. President, Mr. Senator
Do you guy's hear us...hear us...

If you want to look at pollution look to the developing countries. We have tons of safe guards in place, and while we are aren't the cleanest place in the world we are the most rich and that makes us a target. In response I'd like to say:

SUCK IT DOWN, THIRD WORLD. WE RUN THIS SCHOOL NOW PONY UP THAT LUNCH MONEY.

That being said. I don't support the war anymore than you do. I'd have been much happier if we got the CIA to assassinate Hussein and his sons. But whats happened has happened and now we should leave. I hate Bush as much as any other rational person, but you shouldn't go to Eminem for advice. Eminem is a douche as well. Read a book and watch the news.

That may be true, but in CO2-output, the American Army takes the second place, after the People's Republic of China.

We are all producing tons of greenhouse-gasses, and its just not as simple as Kyoto says it is (or wants it to be) to reduce this, without major problems in the industry.

Right now Kyoto is doing not very much.. Why?
Because air pollution can be put in 4 groups by size.. Asia America Europe Russia... Asia is still thinking i guess.. America is out... Russia in and Europe in.. Thats still missing 2 major factors...

because trying to make sure men who would want to bring about nuclear winter and render portions of the earths surface uninhabitable waste dumps of bio/chem weapons is clearly less important than losing trillions of dollars to keep the earths temperature from rising 7/10 of a degree over the next 150 years.

Well bush could put a bit more money into that lesswastetechinvestigation instead of using HUGE mounts of money in south east...in WARFARES...Now I don´t have anything against America, actually the opposite, I just wish that Bush would leave the table of the white house...

And this topic is going on pretty well.. Nice replies... Many minds... :) Life would be boring if everyone thought the same... Now my opinion is that Bush is a bad leader of a big and powerful country but thats just my opinion.. :)

No I don't have kyoto wrong. You don't have a clue on it. Mars is getting warmer. Why is mars getting warmer? Are the martians driving too many SUV's or something? Because that seems to be your reason for saying the earth is getting warmer. You get the point. You know what Bush wants to do? Develop technologies that are more efficient that produce less waste. He doesn't want to cripple the American economy just so you can feel good about yourself. Kyoto also doesn't limit developing countries which are producing a lot more waste for every useable product they make. The only reason Russia signed it is because they are nowhere close to producing the levels kyoto says they can. Kyoto is garbage and not worth the paper its printed on.

The world warming goes up and down but the fact up there things are going worse can be proved and that can cause bad damage in the long run... And it can be proved that USA is a HUGE factor in many enviromental issues including this... It can be proved what the bad things need to happen and with that in mind can be told what USA does and those thing match.. Of course every country does it.. Other just do something about it...

There is indeed a lot of contradicting information on global-warming, cant say I've read enough about both sides to form a solid opnion.

However..

Oh there's evidence of the earth warming, just no proof that we are actually contributing in any major way to it. And Kyoto certainly won't contribute in any major way to slowing it down.

Yeah the whole global warming issue thing has no real footing. Changes in average temperatures have been the story of Earth's life, there is nothing new about that. It's going to happen regardless of what we're doing. Also there is just as much information showing the Earth may actually be about to enter a cooling phase as a warming one. Also to be considered is the output of the sun is hardly a consistant thing and goes through phases (of 10s, 100s, 1000s, and 1,000,000s of years). But Eminem probably wouldn't have a clue of what you're talking about if you mentioned this to him.

All true, that is good.

Is it worth the price tho? And if your reason is the removal of a tyrant and getting more allies, where is this gonna stop? Half of the world consists of countries ruled with an iron fist(9 out of 10 times a bloody one aswell).

And please, try to keep this discussion civilized. Im not looking for flaming posts.

Yeah, Tido and Buzz hit the nail on the head there.

You guys just have to remember that British and American citizens have, for the most part, very comfortable lifestyles. That doesn't come for free. Instead of criticizing the perhaps questionable actions of your leaders, maybe you should focus on the positive and thank them for all the great things they've done that have secured a better future for YOU. :)

Alright, point taken.

But im getting a bit tired of hearing: "OMG, my life is peaceful and safe right now, and all thanks to Bush and Blair!". It was safe and peaceful before them aswell. The war in Iraq sure as hell isnt the reason my country got any safer, more like the other way around. Maybe Americans and the British feel different, but thats from a Dutch point of view.

Then again, altho im no Bush fan-boy, he does have the balls to make tough decisions.

You are an ignorant fool. Iraq had been violating every UN resolution passed against it for the past 12 years. An attempted assasination on a former president. His connections to terrorism. Go look up Salman Pak. Americans also aren't the ones blowing up car bombs. That would be the other side. And yeah we might not have found any weapons, but we found enough locations all geared up and ready to go as soon as possible to make them. Dual-use materials were also the norm, not the exception.

And the Greenhouse effect? You are not bright. Let's see, the earth is getting warmer. Guess what, so is MARS. Is Bush to blame for that too? Kyoto is a joke that will do nothing other than cripple and hinder economies. It arbitrarily chooses 1998 as the optimum year for how the earth should be, which is completely pointless. UV radiation and the greenhouse effect aren't connected either.

And as for what the US gets from Iraq. The removal of a despotic tyrant, or do you think that's not good for everyone? Also the hope is a stable democratic ally in the middle east. Again tell me what's bad about that?

You don't know enough about any of this to provide information.
