Mosh - Bush - Eminem ( his word )

Here is a few lines I picked from Eminem´s lyrics from the song Mosh.... Read them.. At least one american found a way how to open eyes of some people... And post similar types of high puplic protests :)

Stomp, push, shove, mush, Fuck Bush, until they bring our troops home (c'mon)

Imagine it pouring, it's raining down on us
Mosh pits outside the oval office
Someone's tryina tell us something,
Maybe this is god just sayin' we're responsible
For this monster, this coward,
That we have empowered
This is Bin Laden, look at his head noddin'
How could we allow something like this without pumping our fists
Now this is our final hour
Let me be the voice in your strength and your choice
Let me simplify the rhyme just to amplify the noise
Try to amplify the times it, and multiply by six...
Teen million people, Are equal at this high pitch
Maybe we can reach alqueda through my speech
Let the president answer a higher anarchy
Strap him with an Ak-47, let him go, fight his own war
Let him impress daddy that way
No more blood for oil, we got our own battles to fight on our own soil
No more psychological warfare, to trick us to thinking that we ain't loyal
If we don't serve our own country, we're patronizing a hero
Look in his eyes its all lies
The stars and stripes, they've been swiped, washed out and wiped
And replaced with his own face, Mosh now or die
If I get sniped tonight you know why,
Cause I told you to fight.

And as we proceed,
To Mosh through this desert storm,
In these closing statements, if they should argue
Let us beg to differ
As we set aside our differences
And assemble our own army
To disarm this Weapon of Mass Destruction
That we call our President, for the present
And Mosh for the future of our next generation
To speak and be heard
Mr. President, Mr. Senator
Do you guy's hear us...hear us...

Well I have no clue what you were saying, but I'll point it out again. Recycling aluminum is the only beneficial recycling out there. All other recycling results in more energy usage than the production of new material. I want all other trash thrown away into the polymer lined landfills that are required to not leak anything into the surrounding area. There is enough space in our landfills for a very long time. And if you really want enough garbage space to last the united states, the most wasteful country in the world, that would last a few thousand years, all you need is a 35 square mile area out in the middle of no where and you'll be set.

people are being taught wrongly about a lot of things. Such as recycling. Recycling is more harmful to the earth than just tossing your garbage, with the exception of aluminum cans. Recycling plastics and paper are bad. It takes more energy to take the used material and convert it to usable material than it does to go out and make brand new products. Also all paper in the US is made from trees specifically grown for use as paper. So by only using recycled paper you contribute to the reduction of trees, because as demand for fresh paper goes up they must plant more and more trees than before to meet the demand.

besides all the rich people in america you also have the poor

Quote:
Forty-six percent of all poor households actually own their own homes. The average home owned by persons classified as poor by the Census Bureau is a three-bedroom house with one-and-a-half baths, a garage, and a porch or patio.
Seventy-six percent of poor households have air conditioning. By contrast, 30 years ago, only 36 percent of the entire U.S. population enjoyed air conditioning.
Only 6 percent of poor households are overcrowded. More than two-thirds have more than two rooms per person.
The average poor American has more living space than the average individual living in Paris, London, Vienna, Athens, and other cities throughout Europe. (These comparisons are to the average citizens in foreign countries, not to those classified as poor.)
Nearly three-quarters of poor households own a car; 30 percent own two or more cars.
Ninety-seven percent of poor households have a color television; over half own two or more color televisions.
Seventy-eight percent have a VCR or DVD player; 62 percent have cable or satellite TV reception.
Seventy-three percent own microwave ovens, more than half have a stereo, and a third have an automatic dishwasher.

Flux nails it. You can't just say "the rich should pay for it". If you do that's redistribution of wealth. Who will have the motivation to work hard and be successful if all your hard work is just going to be taxed? Personally I think our current tax code dampens self-motivation too much already.

Also, simply throwing money at our school system won't fix it. We've already seen that fail. But our universities and colleges are no joke. They are amongst the top in the world. I don't need to post some statistics to prove that; all of you already know it. People around the world want to go to school in America. No one knows that better than those who work in admissions and handle the piles of applications from foreign students.

USA the richest country.. Yes at least one of the richest... Ummm.. How about the education system... Well to be rude the developing countries have a better school system than america... USA has the most millionares and billionares in the world but at the same time some people are as much feeded as the people in the developing countries... Now USA has money and for sure it needs to put somewhere else than war...

The US might have a shaky public educational system, but it's widespread and filled with opportunity. Other countries have better educated individuals, but they get that way because their system is a kind of hard educational Darwinism where it's designed to root out the intellectual weaklings and most people are going to fail. You don't make a better society by culturing elitism. And many developing countries yield educated and successful people who were taught by Americans working for US government-funded aid.

Rich people get to keep their money because that's the right they have in America as a private individual. If that person wants to keep their money and be greedy, then they have the right to do it. It's an inborn right that everyone has as an individual. Total freedom of wealth while having it concentrated on some people and taxed is better than a government being completely totalitarian about distribution of wealth.

If you think that people in the US are starving, then you're wrong. Sure, there are poor people, but that's inevitable in every society. A society with no poor people is a utopia, and those don't exist. A government can only do as much as it can to help the poor, and the US government has a welfare system in which they skim off more tax money from the rich people.

And the US does spend its money on many other things than military and war. That issue is just what the rest of the world wants to see because it directly involves them. But like I said before, much of the wealth you see isn't controlled by the government, so therefore can't be spent on things that people say the government ought to do.

Microphone politics.

In essence: "I have the mic, so I'm going to say whatever I bloody well want to say, and you can't do anything about it."

Couple that with a fanbase, popularity, and being on the cover of Rolling Stone/Encore/whatever magazine, and you have the ability to shape pop culture and what I like to call 'pop opinion' into what you see fit. A dangerous sort of power in a world of [sarcastic]"free-thinkers"[/sarcastic].

That being said. I don't support the war anymore than you do. I'd have been much happier if we got the CIA to assassinate Hussein and his sons. But whats happened has happened and now we should leave. I hate Bush as much as any other rational person, but you shouldn't go to Eminem for advice. Eminem is a douche as well. That may be true, but in CO2-output, the American Army takes the second place, after the People's Republic of China.

We are all producing tons of greenhouse-gasses, and its just not as simple as Kyoto says it is (or wants it to be) to reduce this, without major problems in the industry.
