Hey guys! What do you think of having JA musicians throwing down some xmas tracks and then having JA Radio play it for us all to enjoy? Each person will pick a classic xmas song to do in their own rendition and then submit it to me to be broadcasted. Then on one day (Christmas) we'll broadcast all day JA members giving their best! Just an idea right now but we'll have to move fast if we want to do this! Deadline is going to be December 22st! Hey Tido, it's a bit too late for me to record anything new, but we did a version of "Walking in the air" (from the 'snowman' animation) with our band (FINNISH). I could send that to you! It's a good version, I play the lead guitar! I suppose, but whilst the drumming on the song is really simple, I'm just not in a position to spend hours and hours trying to get this to work perfectly  I'm going to hopefully mask some of the problems with Eica's bass when I mix it. That's why I use Audacity  On a side note, I've just done the drum track for our song and seriously, Slade cannot keep beat - its terrible. The drums range in verse 2 by as much as half a beat! So I've just ignored them (apart from in important places), and kept up with my metronome. Remind me never, EVER, to drum Slade EVER again. _______________ Website |

Wow, I didn't realize Audacity could do all this. I thought it was a single track wav editor. That's not the case. As a lightweight multi-track mixer/editor it does a pretty decent job, and you can't argue with the price! Check it out: http://audacity.sourceforge.net Learn how to use it and you could produce some pretty nifty things! |
