I'm planning on doing a "speech" like I did a long whiles back about the "state of the Academy"... but since I've been gone for a while, I need to know what people want address. Ranks? Promotions? Why DJ still hasn't shaved his porcupine back hair? Use this forum to let me know what you'd like addressed (and along those same lines, keep discussion to a minimum on this thread, it'll make it easier for me to go through and find the important points i want to make) _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

If I May, When I 1st joined JA downloaded the Pk3's needed(for JK2) and 1st pop'ed into the academy's map I was greeted by...ahhh Zigster i think..He Asked if I was a new member and then asked if I wanted a tour of the map. He took me to each room,Gave me an idea of what the room's were for and a little history of the Academy also. Right off the bat I felt Good..In a Familey Kinda way! Not the same when I came back having installed JK3..Not even a *HI* Maybe just bad timeing on my part logging into the servers.. So Maybe you'd want to inclued a small bit on giving the *Newer* Folk's and Those of Us from the JK2 Days that are returning A Hand. Just My 2 Cred's Grym |

Sniya, the point of having a limit for Knights is that Knightood is no longer a rank but a job.
Just like being a JAT. Before the ranks extintion being a JAK ment that you were a respected member of the Academy , not only by your skill but also by dedication and respect shown to and received by your fellow students. There was no actuall limit for the number of knights. Those are still the qualitys used to nominate a Knight, but now it is not only a recognition of one's behavour at the Academy. It is a job. With it you get dutys and obligations along with the "Knight" title. Just like a JAT. In fact I like to call the Knight's Junior JAT's. Like in every company you only need a certain number of employees to run it. So new Knights will only be admited when the number of actual Knights drop or with a raise of the number of students (more peeps to take care). For example, recently Luke, Bubu and DB got promoted to JAT. I'm pretty sure that there will be new JAK's apointed. I dont see why thier should be a plug on the number of knights surely its hard enough and enough honour is required so that only the best can pass therefore leading ot low numbers.Has anyone ever heard of a baned Knight?No.Because theyre so carefully chosen _______________ The real question is not whether machines think but whether men do. New way we are going to create knights ? Easy.
See, we get this test tubes, some silly puddy, some fine JAT/JAC DNA, 2 ounces of ketchup and a Mars bar. And pronto, you get your standart in vitro JAK.
Now on a more serious note. The way you get picked for Knight didn't changed. You get nominated by 3 JAT's/JAC's (with the jaks opinion).
