I'm planning on doing a "speech" like I did a long whiles back about the "state of the Academy"... but since I've been gone for a while, I need to know what people want address. Ranks? Promotions? Why DJ still hasn't shaved his porcupine back hair? Use this forum to let me know what you'd like addressed (and along those same lines, keep discussion to a minimum on this thread, it'll make it easier for me to go through and find the important points i want to make) _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

New way we are going to create knights ? Easy.
See, we get this test tubes, some silly puddy, some fine JAT/JAC DNA, 2 ounces of ketchup and a Mars bar. And pronto, you get your standart in vitro JAK. 
Now on a more serious note. The way you get picked for Knight didn't changed. You get nominated by 3 JAT's/JAC's (with the jaks opinion). ioshee, the concern about knight trials is because it was said that they would be changed and then... that's it.
since the lower ranks have been taken out, and there are no more class points either, the way knights are created has to change too.. so that's why people want to hear more about it _______________ make install -not war |

We COULD try to expand the community by having people teach things like mapping and modding...

Hummm, maybe a more detailed explanation of why the ranks are gone. Some ppl still dont get it.
Considering knight trials, I really don't see any problems. Maybe you should explain that there are supposed to be a few of them, like the trainers and that new knights will be trialed only when necessary. I think now that the ranks are gone ppl are seeing Knightood as the only available promotion and going at it like crazy. Missing the hole point. Also give a big shout to the fact that ppl are promoting activities at the academy other then duels and tournys , like the Data Bank, JA Prom , mapping, etc. is a woderfull indicator of how much this community is growing. Heck , we're becoming a familly. sob Its beutifull. sob See now yo got me crying. Just out of curiosity, why do you guys keep mentioning knight trials?
What do you mean? Is there a problem? If you mean that there have been none for a while, maybe that’s just because we have enough knights for now. I mean, I ALWAYS see at least one on the server. That’s a good thing

- rank removal (bad? good? future?) - knight trials (wassup with them?) - JA knowledge base project (talk to Ruuk) - servers (past, present and future) - general behavior and student attitude - upper-management insider stuff - praise where deserved if your speech includes all these things i think people will be happy _______________ make install -not war |

Servers is a good thing I think. I'd like to see something about the knight trials and ranks. I'd also like to see something about discipline and respect, 2 things that the academy must constantly address. _______________ Death is only the beginning. |

You don't need to just address problems, complaints, issues in it though. You can point out the good things going on. Any changes behind the scenes students should know about but isn't common knowledge.
