Just watched a movie ? let us know what you just watched with a simple watch, Avoid or if your bored next to it.

Lets face it people dont have the same taste in movies but its pretty simple to work out if you wanna watch it, the Watch or avoid is just a guideline to that genre, so if you like the genre then you will like the movie more than likely.

i'll start

today i watched

Finders Fee - Mystery Indie movie - Watch for sure

Red Eye - Thriller - Only if your bored ( though cillian murphy is creepy :D )

carry it on :D

Well i have seen Ghost Rider and The number 23, i am a big Marvel fan and i found it to be a good rendition but to be honest it didn't have much depth to it.

Number 23 wasn't what i expected, but not in a negative way. The story is really very good, and i was expecting a horror but i was pleasently suprised when i realised it was a psychological thriller, the story is a 'bit' of a slow start but when it gets going it is quite gripping and the ending is well....you'll have to watch it :)

The next film i will be watching is 300, without a doubt, i lov it already lol :P:alliance::alliance::alliance:

Hollywood?

Plot?

Character Depth?

Bahahahahahahahaha! So long as the population keeps watching crap like they churn out, they'll still roll the same things and get their money.

EDIT: And saw Hot Fuzz. It Owns You.

I could have said right from the get-go that Epic Movie would suck terribly. Same with Eragon. I mean, the book's okay (I haven't read Eldest, it's collecting dust somewhere) but the trailer just didn't give me goose bumps, excitement, urge to see it... Nothing. Which is not good, especially when such a considerably large book is crammed to an hour and something minutes.

The Devil Wears Prada's a pretty great movie which reminds me of Ugly Betty. If you're not horribly offended by chick flicks and sitting through a movie about fashion industries for a few hours, watch this. It's great. Meryl Streep is just infectious.

Amelie (oldie) is an okay movie. I can say that it's VERY artistic. I was getting pretty bored in the middle, especially after such a humorous introduction. Amelie's also pretty infectious, from how she handles situations and the silly little expressions she makes. So watch this movie if you're interested in boggling at her face. I'd say that a simple plot was stretched out an hour or so longer than it had to have been, but, meh. I was expecting there to be a twist at the end, which there sort of was, though it left a bit to be desired.

Stranger than Fiction's... alright. I had a lot of expectations for this movie, and was somewhat disappointed. It had a lot of potential, but then degenerated into somewhat of a snoozer. This is probably the most serious movie I've ever seen Will Farrel in, and given the storyline, you don't really expect it to be as serious as it is, and a bit of goofy comedy, no matter how annoying Will Farrel could get in his overacting, could have actually helped this movie a bit.

And finally, the Anna Nicole Smith trial case... Wait, what? That wasn't a movie? ...The judge was clearly performing for the camer—... Uh... Okay. If you say so.

went and saw rocky balboa a couple days ago. its pretty dull and boring for about 3/4 of the movie and as usual the final fight is the only consolation. the reason for his return in the first place is pretty lame too. my friends are hardcore rocky fans though and they found it wondrous and captivating and left the theatre with sticky pants. i guess if you're into the whole rocky thing you might like it more but i really did not think it was that great.

ps. saw the trailer for live free or die hard. ive been a fan of the die hard movies from day 1 and i gotta say this looks promising.

pps. REALLY looking forward to 300.. looks awesome

I just went to see an advanced screening of "300" around where I live.

If you don't know what "300" is (in which case you've been born today or have no communication with anyone), it's a movie based off the graphic novel of the same name by Frank Miller, who also writes the highly acclaimed Sin City graphic novels. Anywho, the story is loosely based around the valiant stand during the Battle of Thermopylae of 300 Spartans against the "Thousand Nations of the Persian Empire".

Anyway, if you've seen the movie's trailer, then you probably have an idea of the visual spectacularity of it. The movie's backdrops and scenes are lush and astounding. Every scene, and I mean every scene, is exploding with immense detail. I won't spoil it for you however.

The acting was also well done with unbelievably huge amounts of bad-assedness that I could probably quote for the rest of my life and it would never get old. Gerard Butler gives a noteworthy performance as King Leonidas, despite at times what may seem like over-acting from a large amount of shouting on his part.

Oh my God, let me not forget about the battle scenes. The battle scenes, combined with such intense visual backgrounds never ceases to amaze with the arrows, spears, and swords a'swinging.

This is the quintessential movie at its finest, the truest form of classic cinema, emboldened into the modern times as a highly entertaining timeless story of valiance and courage.

So yeah, go see it, or else. Or else!

Yeah thats right i went to see this :P

Its quite good for a family film about Beatrix Potter, the way the animals come alive in the drawings is fantastic, and Ewan McGregor and Renee Zellweger both deliver good performances.

Smokin' Aces

Very good movie, very very violent, the body count is uber-high. And a lot get bumped off early on!

Also, I'm pleasantly surprised by how Ryan Reynolds did in this, he was very good, especially being a creature from Van Wilder and Waiting.

Anyway since i have the flu i watched a couple of movies.

Deja Vu - simply put, denzel washington travels back in time to stop a bomb and to save a woman that dies in the blast, falling in love with her in the process.
Good movie, Denzel is a great actor and if u like him then watch this movie.

Blood Diamond

Well this movie was just awesome. I wont really explain the story n such cos its needs to be seen.
Leonardo is just amazing in this movie and his accent for the best part is awesome too.
Now the real star of this movie is Djimon Honusou, this guy is just fantastic and conveys emotion like never before seen in a movie, If you've seen Gladiator you'll know who he is when u see him.

Go watch this movie!

note. Djimon Hounou said at the premiere on the red carpet, " You know i thought we tried our best to show the message of the blood diamonds, Yet i still see so many people here with diamonds on... but hey its hollywood right"

I watched "Big Boy" or something last night. It was a japanese film about a man waking up in prison, but having no idea nor any recollection as to how/why he got there. Therefore, when he gets out fifteen years later, he goes out seeking revenge. Nice plot twists, albeit a bit stretched and over the top at times.

LOL bail. It's called Oldboy and its a Korean man who was not sent to prison but imprisoned by someone seemingly without reason and he gets out with a limited ammount of time to kill the guy who did it to him.

The Gridiron gang - "The rock" teaching young men in a detention center (not sure what it's called) how to play football.
The usual movie where the guys start out hating eachother because they come from different gangs and learn how to work together.

It's a "it's 9am a sunday and I'm bored movie". Kills some time, but not to watch two times.

The Pursuit of Happyness

A well made feel good film starring and produced by Will Smith. Smith does a good job of getting out of his action here typecast, and the film works well, although it does seem a little drawn out in places.

Its based on a true story.

The Guardian

I really enjoy these movies, inspirational movies based upon true occupations.
This one is set in the coast guard and from all the reviews i have read on it is actually very realistic in showing you the dangers and the courage of the coast guard and the divers.
Ashton kutcher is the up and coming diver, haunted by his past and driven by records, its nice to watch his character develop and his views on life change as he understands the role he is searching for in life.
Kevin Costner is one of the best and most successful divers in the coast guard and after a bad rescue is told to take some time out and go train some people in the academy to get back in shape. Needless to say he ends up training ashton kutcher and they bond very well on screen.
The final climax is good and believable too. I recommend seeing this movie if you liked such movies as Men of Honor and Remember the Titans, that sort of genre. it is alot more grown up than Remember the titans tho :)
