Quote: An idea has raised that, maybe, we could start a new CTF league, in order to add some activity to the community The idea is spreading, and we would like to know how many of you could be interested in it. With the ESL and the bs community together, it should be possible to gather a good amount of players to play in the same league. Therefore, if you are interested let us know by posting here. Thank you, and stay tuned! The above is a quoted thread from beyond suppression forums. Just so everyone knows, the idea was accepted and the league is being formed. I have copied this here because I know there are CTF'ers here at the academy who do not check the beyond suppression forums. If you are interested in this league I strongly suggest that you sign up at thebeyond suppression forums and check them regularly, you will also find a learning forums there to help further your skills in CTF since this league WILL be competative. I also suggest you register at ESL's website so that you may be apart of this league. Lastly, after reading the learning section on beyond suppression, you should try to play a few pugs since that is as close to competative play as you can get. ![]() _______________ ![]() |

Yeah - that reminds me, I never did download Nico's vid, I'll do it now I think. I recommend Avalon (one of the first - a community project in a way, since it contains frags submitted from all of the CTF community). I'd imagine that Tri's is good too, although I haven't seen it. Oh - and if you wanna learn some nifty tricks, watch Trailblazer. _______________ ------------------------ |

The videos they have listed in a posting are killer! The Aimbot is a must see for CTF players. You may need Divx to play some of them. -Ian _______________ Member #7625 | Since 7.6.04 The Archives This comment was edited by Ian Jandos on Jun 15 2006 05:07pm. |

I think it's because Beyond Supression is really a collection of some of the best JK3 CTF players, and therefore, by signing up there, not only can you get tips and advice, but you can monitor the progress of the league-starting (:S) through the people who started the idea. ^^ Edit: I might like...reinstall JK3!!! And then leave again (@ FM) ![]() _______________ ------------------------ This comment was edited by OpTiMe on Jun 12 2006 12:08pm. |

^FM, So Beyond Supression is instrumental in the forming of this league? Is signing up through them the only way to be accepted into the league? There isn't much information on their site, so I'm curious as to, why them? Can we not form our own JA CTF squad here, or perhaps attach a group to an existing JA Clan? Can you email me some PUG servers? Thanks, -Ian _______________ Member #7625 | Since 7.6.04 The Archives |
