Hello my friends. As my classes page announces, I won't be able to make my classes for this weekend due to RL stuff. BUT, starting next weekend, I'll be starting up the last 4 week session of beginners class. I'll do my best to make it through those 4 weeks straight and we'll be wrapping things up towards the end of June. With my advanced students, we'll go over for those 4 weeks all that we can. We've pretty much covered everything I've wanted to cover and I'll be able to part on a happy note. For those that know me, I've been here almost 3 years now (got a few more months before the big 3 hits), which is a good chunk of time (not as much as those true blue oldbies) but old enough to call everyone else younger than me "whippersnappers". I came back at the end of last year and was honored to be able to start teaching staff, officially, academy style. I have gone through 4 sessions with students and have seen many grow up in terms of skill to become very fine staffers. Unfortunately, it's been a little over 6 months worth of teaching, and I have to admit, I'm pretty burnt out. Although my track record for attendance isn't consistant (I've missed a couple here, a couple there), I've done my best to be there for that time slot since I became JAT. I've battled the idea of stepping down for about a good month now, but with the way things are changing for me and my schedule, I figure it'd be good to put in my notice to you all. I've notified the JAT+ that I will be teaching these next 4 weeks starting the 10th, and will teach up and through July 1st. At that point, once class ends, I will officially step down as JAT/JAK and meld back in with the students. I'm not retiring from the JA (that's too hard, I'd miss you guys too much), but I just won't be as active. I still get called upon to participate in Aurochs matches, and by being a student, I'd still be able to represent the 'Rochs. I think that's I have to say for now, I look forward to the new students that come about for this last session. And for the advanced students, I look forward to giving you all the knowledge that I have acquired about staff these 2+ years. *throws the horns* \m/ b00m ~Janus _______________ Be honorable, be friendly, be trustworthy.  Otherwise you would have to search out the individual players that have already passed the Staff class. *I would suggest you come, otherwise you'll have a harder time learning the basics of staff. My oh my has the month gone by fast. This Saturday is the last saturday Students will have the chance to participate in the Staff Foundation and Staff Advanced classes. I'd post who's eligible, but this time around I've been putting everyone who shows up each of these final 3 weeks through the entire class in one sitting! The same will hold true for this Saturday. I'm looking to have a fun time and end my tenure here on a good note. The more to show up, the merrier! If you've thought about taking up staff and want a basic feel for what the saber style does, I highly recommend you give it a shot this saturday, here on the classes server from 11am - 1pm Eastern Standard Time. We'll I've not been on for quite sometime due to just how things have gone. But I do have this to say. The things I've learned from you on Staff are something I'll really never forget. It's hard not to. It's simple, thought out, and easy to remember *Since of course you posted all the info on the details  *I was Honored when you asked me to become your Padawan and I still am, even though thats around the time when my activity declined and I didn't get to see you or the other Pad's. Even though your only stepping down from a position, the greatest thing to remember is that you took it upon yourself to help others. That is a great accomplishment and one well deserved. ..
