Just watched the first half of Brazil vs. Australia. The Aussies have been playing really really well. Brazil have had their chances. I really do think Ronaldo is way over-rated. Though, I do feel sorry for him because I know he can play better. Just because teams don't score 10 in a match doesn't mean the match isn't entertaining. I'd rather watch 2-1 matches every week with goalies saving and strikers missing good goal-scoring oppertunites than watch a 10-0 game every week. When Robben's in good shape, he's in amazing shape. People go 'wtf' when I tell them I've met him a few times: he went to school in my city.  The dude's only one year older than I am. Of course, now that he's had his breakthrough he's hardly around, but I heard he still visits.The Dutch team did alright this afternoon but could've been so much more focused. Of course, the weather played a major part. I'm hoping the conditions will improve. |
