I grew up watching Steve Irwin shows on Animal Planet since about 1994 as a kid. However, it was bound to happen sooner or later, just not this soon I was hoping, I just wished it was an epic battle with a massive Blue-whale-size crocidile with a dramatic ending. Rest in peace! Yes it's a great loss to us all, he was a great ambassador to wildlife conservation and he will be sorely missed. I have been to he's zoo many times and each time it get's better and better, I dont think it will be the same without him. When I first saw Steve on the TV show with Jay Leno, I thought, 'what a complete idiot' but now after seeing all the great work that he's done over the year's I think we have lost someone very special and passionate about the enviroment.
