I can't cope with a single saber yet let alone getting into two sabers etc.  - obviously i'll try everything and make a decision on what i prefer when i have tried them all; at the moment i think that getting to grips with using one saber is hard enough but who knows  _______________ Support bacteria, they're the only culture some people have. |

No I'm not assuming anything. Of course its going to have its drawbacks. They aren't going to make it an all powerful superweapon like it pretty much is now in MP. But that's not going to stop some people from complaining about those that will wipe the floor with it. Using Strong stance has its drawbacks. Your swings are slow. And there are still those that complain if you always use red and continue to beat them. I'm not talking about here at the academy. I'm talking about everywhere online. You're assuming that the double saber will be all advantages, I'd be surprised if it were. Its certainly a possibility, but I would've though that because its such a large part and eagerly anticipated part of the game, they will wanna test it thouraghly and be a bit careful. That goes hand in hand with what they've learned from the JKII patch fiasco. Jake I didn't want another start of an argument. Those are just examples of what might happen with Jedi Academy. Its a matter of what people are going to need an excuse to complain about. There are people that use darkside that disable lightning on servers because they consider it to be lame. Some people disable an entire side of the Force because they don't want to fight people that use it or because they're "Jedi" and since its their game they won't allow darkside powers. My point is that you could probably see more of this only it won't be drain whore or lightning lamer or "Can't you fight with anything besides red stance". Ok so you've thrown your saber, he drains back any health you took off in 2 seconds, you've used up loads of force due to the throw and the drain, what now ? As for mindtrick, even if you don't have seeing, either use push or pull or just keep moving so they either can't catch you or reveal themselves.

Hmmm, I'd like to see how you got to this conclusion. A skilled lighty against a medium darkie will most likely win, but thats a skill thing. I'm talking 2 equal players, one dark, one light, dark comes out on top every time. And what would protect do to drain anyway ? Maybe they DID make Dark more powerfull... Dark Side is also the easiest and most offensive... Most started with Dark and some moved on... Remember, the Dark path is the fast and aggresive one, but if u take the time to TRULY master one side, Light is better in every way(this goes for REALLY DEEP ADVANCED USERS ONLY)! _______________ Not back yet... In all gametypes both sides have equal advantages and disadvantages. Not so in full force duel though. Darkside has drain which can be used with only 3 bars of force as opposed to lightside heal which requires half a force pool. This single factor allows a darksider to continuosly heal throughout the match, whilst starving the lightsider of force.
Don't say absorb, as a darksider can just avoid, and then drain when its off, denying them the ability to heal. Think about it yeah, its common sense, these are the facts. Well, i guess that u can aquire one of those in the early stage of the game, but then u have to put some points into them to be able to use them! Don't forget Jake, The Force powers are balanced and yet you swear by darkside being better in FF duels. And there are also people that do get pissed off at people that use Red Stance all the time while dueling. You really can't discount the possiblity of that happening with double sabers and two sabers being added to the mix. Even if they are all balanced. People do like finding excuses about why they can't beat someone.
