Could you remove the hilts from the academy map or atleast say which file they are located in having to go past them while picking a saber all the time gets annoying after a while.

What are you talking about ive not advocated including any custom content whatsoever. Also no bwn, esl or base server that i know of uses custom content. Furthermore there is a major difference between maps/skins and hilts which is that they are able to change the actual combat aspect. Whereas a skin only changes appearance and a map the location. Although you might argue that a map's geography might have impact. Still not as much as a hilt can. How about you go look at Virtue's hilts, check their specs and decide if they are making an impact. I bet they aren't. Everything else you post is pointless. We do things here the way we want to do them. Your argument is true except that it is the main map used by the entire community. And this is a quite large community although inactive.
If someone makes something made for the entire community i would think they would also try to service the community in things regarding it. Why should he have to? Its his map. Its his hilts. Its his decision. If you designed something and decided that along with it you wanted to put something additional on, because its yours wouldn't you want to?

How about everytime you turned on a tv you had to press a button to go beyond a blank screen. Would you turn that feature off in the settings or would you keep pressing that button everytime you turned it on ?
