The Jedi Academy is not a clan; clans have nothing to do with the academy. You are free to join one if you like though.

The Jedi Academy is just that - an academy, school or community which aims to help you become a better Jedi Knight 2/3 player and offer a friendly environment to train in. It's a completely clan-neutral ground - a lot of the people here are in clans and some decide to wear their tags here whereas others do not. Any tags related to the academy are just to indicate the person's rank and are not at all essential, just somewhat helpful.

I would just like to ask one thing though..
Is The Jedi Academy an actual clan or do I just train here? I mean, there are JK3 clans that I have met online and I was wondering if we were one of them. Do we have a public server? Incredibly good newsa guys!!!
First: The game finally arrived today! I disinstalled the downloaded version (saving all of my games of course) and installed the normal game! Second: It wasn't the game after all guys. My computer had an error that made the computer attempt to connect to a proxy server. My dad fixed the error luckily. So all in all, I just wasted a bit of money but now no one can say I have an illegal copy of the game!

You probably won't get much help here until you buy the game. Obtaining it through the method you mentioned often raises various problems, but fortunately, as it is such an old game, you can purchase it fairly cheaply from Amazon.

You downloaded the game via torrent? So you have an illegal copy of the game.
That'll have a big hitch in why you cannot play. Also, the discussion of such things is prohibited here or anywhere else on this site. Not to mention you shouldn't really do it. I'm not threatning you, I'm just giving you a friendly warning. Buy the game from wherever you get your games from. Actually I DO have a problem.
When I go on multiplayer in JKJA, I choose any FFA server I see. But when it says Waiting for connection it never connects. Last night I let it do the waiting for connection while I watched a movie (comedy if any of you are wondering(Robin Hood: Men In Tights (Mel Brook's film))) and IT GOT UP TO 2100.
