SP. I like to know a game very well before I go off at the internet. Kinad reminded me of JKII. I started with SP, and when I got inet I had played it for 3 months, with some MP bots and all. Considering as how I finished the SP in more hours back in March, April, and May than I've played MP the entire time it's been out, i think i'll go with SP first _______________ -Academy Leader/Dictator/Defeater of DJ Sith and JACen Solo in the JAK+ Tournament -I do think it (the JA) will help convert dozens, maybe hundreds, to the dork nation... --me |

I'm gonna do SP 1st. That's what I did with JK2, that's actually what got me to buy it in the 1st place. I saw the demo at the local CompUSA and was blown away. A Quake2 style game except with a SW feel. I didn't even know that you could use lightsabres at that point. I just picked up the game off the shelf and went to the checkout counter. This is the problem with new games, have I already said this ? For singleplayer you can play that straight away. The problem is if you get stuck, the game is new so there won't be any walkthroughs out for at least a month after release. For multi their simply won't be any servers, or vry few which are packed. The first MP game on a new game like this (I know its not that new and stuff has remained but there are definite differences) will be pretty chaotic, as lots of new players, those that aren't familiar with an accepted code of conduct, so its unlikely you'll see any of that saber off=peace stuff, at least for a while, as people jsut wanna play the game, try out the new stuff and see what it can do. The thing I'm most looking forward to is the new combos and strategies to be used in saber combat. You know like the strafing slash combo in medium stance ? SP aint challenging anymore if u played MP first. did that when starcraft came out. rushed to a LAN with several hours of MP action.... Its pretty much gotta be single player. If you remember when JKII cam out (waht a glorious day....) and subsequently when the patches came out, there were no servers for it. Even when the first 4 or so popped up on the day, they were packed out, no one knew how it worked with game modes and stuff, no enforcement for lamers (yes yes, even on the first day there were a few).
