So This topic is going to be about everything and only about everything... Yeah you can put on some crazy stuff if you are feeling like that way, but so that nobody will get offended... Let the thoughts flow in! and lets try to found reason for everything! So what you think about this topic, about your life and about everything...? If you don't find anything major, instead of try something minor and see how It will develop... b00m! People go and think! EDIT: Due to some recent happenings on this topic... It made me to create first rules

I think there is quite a lot of value in study qua study - same for philosophy; i see philosophy as a means to self-cultivation. Sure, debate is quite important because it helps you recognize and amend errors that you yourself might've overlooked, or test the usefulness, quality and value of one particular viewpoint against another, but ultimately, the true value of philosophy lies in its applicability to life and how it translates into your everyday coping with the various phenomena of the world. That's why i like ethics so much as well - it helps me live a better and more thoroughly examined life.
If it does not have any consequences in the life of an individual, it becomes a mere act of mental masturbation; something to do when you have too much time on your hands. What good is philosophy without debate? Unless you had kept your wisdom to yourself, people will provide opposition to your views. No matter how you cut it, there are going to be those that think differently than you. Even if you do not debate, those that agree with you will debate with those that do not agree with you. It is inevitable, but ultimately required if you wish to enhance your own views.
As many people who debate will realize, you cannot win on logic alone. Abortion and stem cell research is an excellent example of this. _______________ "Deos fortioribus adesse." |

Really ? Because now seriously I need to say... People have taught me wrong way then ? As I thought everything from provocation to Sokrates methods are valid tactics to practise philosophy ? EDIT: You just need to do it that way, you don't blind yourself with feelings, which is hard to me at times... But great example and It is about you Amik; Do you still remember that Artex's topic, where we did argue about that subject of life is always controlled by something...etc Well It might seem like I didn't like you, (at first I didn't) because I thought you were just saying things to show how wise you were... Anywhoo while I started to think your foundation for your arguments, you started to seem totally sincere to me... and I started to like your way of reasoning things that way I started to like you... Also about that Communism topic... Still I don't know if people have tried communism for real... but hack it was fun to discuss and think about it.... and then I liked to tease you a little bit... anywhoo I learnt that you were she! 
So yeah... My learning and discovering ways of philosophy are totally different

You're not pursuing new knowledge so much as exerting your current knowledge using well formed and logical arguments. Correct me if I am wrong, please. I, personally, like to pursue knowledge and would love to be further educated regarding the subject. In all honesty, You are right... yet It doesn't mean I would be wrong as how I want to discover the way of philosophy... It might seem very childish, indeed, but still I have allready reached my side-goals and a head goal with it... Everything is about philosophy... Laws, Science, Psychology, Math, Movies, Writing, Music, Arts, Martial Arts, Facts and Fictions... In Philosophy, Everybody loves knowledge and they love to think... But yeah... Lets try different way for now on... As I mentioned term 'google' cheap.... What everybody thinks about this praxis; You don't know something at that moment, yet you can just type right words to the search machine, have your information what you need and 'ego' with it ? I have many times cheaped myself this way and It feels horrible, indeed...
