I'd be honored if you would assess me as a potential Padawan/student for your teaching. I play several times a week around 6-9 am CST (US) and quite a bit on the weekend. I play on the main JA server and saw you there this morning as a matter of fact. I live in Memphis, Tennessee. I haven't played CTF yet in JK2 but I'm sure I would like it. Also, I know it is unlikely that I will be chosen....so if you could recommend someone else to be my master after watching me, I would appreciate it. hey DB, I play mostly around 9 pm est till whenever depending on the week and evenings on the weekends when i can depending on work schedule. I live in North Carolina, USA. I like CTF alot but I still have much to learn about the game. Thanks for considering me. PS thanks for the training help. Bodster: Having a "Master" (Trainer) is very good, because you don`t just get to learn what is possible in the game, but how to interact as a beeing in the game. There is more to a game than just the controls  I have never had a master in this game before, but i had one in Jedi Knight II , the first i ever learnt was defense..not attacks... Jedi Knight II has VERY little moves unlike Outcast, so were many who just went crazy on controls on hoped for the best. So defense was the essence of the game i think. I was told to put a blindfold on my eyes, and my master was running around me..and suddenly went in for an attack ... in the end he couldn`t hit me ! How can an enemy kill you when he can`t even hit you once ? My point to this is that experience in a game goes beyond "knowing capabilities" . Knowing the truth isn`t the same as walking the path of a jedi. ^^ So get a Master, someone with experience..and you will become *ahemm* immortal in time _______________ Do you believe I need eyes to see or ears to hear? |

Personally I prefer to learn the game for myself. If there is any particular aspect I want to find out I'll either ask people in servers or browse the internet for some obscure FAQ that holds the one nugget of information that I require. I'm happy to dispense knowledge, but I prefer to hunt for the that which I don't know. |

Hehe, i played jk1 and Mots for serveral years, maybe about three. Those were good times. Hi, I am applying for a padawan position if it is possible. I am 20 years old and have an extensive SW background. 5 years of online gaming from the orignal JK game. I am struggling to become as good as i once were in Jedi Knight, so i need a master who can explain me how to act and think and know the gameplay . I am a good learner i think, and i will not dissappoint ! In recognition of your search for a padawan, please consider me. I live in Minnesota (-6 gmt) and play normally from 8pm till whenever Friday thru Sunday. As soon as school is done, another month, I will be playing more during the week. I could use all the help I can get with jk2.
