well he is a decent hero, not spectacular or anything (apart from his perfect escape skill), but radiance is definitely too painful. yes he will get owned by heroes like lina or troll warlord, but he does well if teammates help him. his damage over time area of effect potential is great. _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. Hm, didn't know radiance was effected by his aoe debuff, that does sound painful. But it's going to be at least level 10+ by the time you have the gold for a radiance, even if you're farming well, unless you're incredibly fortunate with killing blows, and if all you've went for is a radiance... well, people are likely gonna run faster than you, and despite your super high base str stat, you'll also have low armor, and be cut to ribbons in no time by any decent burst hero. I've never seen any of those bugs and I've been playing rather actively. Guess you've had some extremely bad luck - and well, I wouldn't say they're all extremely unbalanced, Mortred and Troll only got minor tweaks and they were always heralds of the apocalypse, so to speak. The chieftain is a bit on the strong side, and the bat has his uses, but I wouldn't call him overpowered compared to some int heroes that have been there much longer _______________ Fervent supporter of duelling - leave a message if you would like to battle! gah dota kinda sux right now.
every new/remade hero is imbalanced to the max. also it has some bugs that are kinda gamebreaking. for example i bought stoutshield and quelling blade for my bear (sylla). a minute later i realise after noticing that my bear is getting killed easier and deals less damage - i check and WHOA - the items are gone. later on - i switch to the other team and items are in the middle of the fountain area. how? why? no idea. im just lucky i didnt have relic/radiance by then. such loss would be outrageous. then friend buys aghanim scepter recipe and its in inventory. not his tho, but one of the vendors. how? why? lol _______________ playing jk3 since 30th of january (2005), member since 1st of february. I've really never understood wtf DotA is supposed to be, despite playing WC3 since forever ago and playing a long time and then pausing and more recently playing it again for some months now but now stopping again. Tbh until recently I always thought it was just some tower defense map, which made me wonder why it was so popular.
