Jedi Academy Aurochs: A History | |
Masta - Jedi Council |
I have taken the liberty to extensively research the history of the Jedi Academy Aurochs from 2005 up till now and have recorded it in our lovely Archives wikia in hope of thereby preserving from decay the memory of what the Aurochs have achieved and of ascribing their deeds the glory that is due to them.

The JA controversy sections might be... controversial
There's a lot of opinion in there - and that's fine when it's opinions from all sides. But it certainly seems as though it's being told from the Aurochs side of things. To be honest, I would cut a LOT of that stuff out because it really isn't representative of the great things that the Aurochs have done. Those sections are controversial because that point in TJA's history was controversial. To be honest with you I think masta did a good job with his discretion. He said what needed to be said about those issues without pointing fingers or dwelling on them too long. However... I think the post has one glaring omission: I don't think my significant contributions to JAA are fully recognized. After all, it was my 24/7 activity on bwn and stuff that went a long way to get the JAA name out there in the first place! (j/k) _______________ |

Quote: i agree with jaws, i also think my contribution has not been fully recognized. perhaps something like, "komence was not only an efficient saberist, but he was also the undisputed best looking member of the aurochs. in times of crisis, fellow aurochs would look upon his glorious face to inspire them to finish the battle and achieve victory."
Sounds spot on.
i can't even explain how many times i caught piccolo checking me out in the middle of a TFFA... Pictures speak louder than words though, and Komence getting the highest score against aXiom and ending the round in a draw is pretty epic in and of itself. :p _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! (j/k) As a bit of history on that article, Tido wrote a good chunk of it initially. I edited Tido's content later on and also added some new sections. We had some smaller contributions from others. Masta has cleaned up the article again, adding in new sections and filling in any holes. Tido initially wrote about conflicts with the JA, and I simplified that portion by leaving out as much negativity as I could and removing any unnecessary details. _______________ "Do or do not, there is no try" Jedi Master Yoda Dual Saberist This comment was edited by R2D2 on Nov 16 2011 04:48am. |

To be honest, I would cut a LOT of that stuff out because it really isn't representative of the great things that the Aurochs have done. There are a few phrases that could be interpreted as opinion (JAA comprises the best of TJA), but overall, I think it is factual. Some of the controversial stuff was necessary to include to give context to some of the major changes that happened with the team. Reading through the article again, I'm thinking we can add some info about Longhorn and Jaktorow, our two main JAA servers! _______________ "Do or do not, there is no try" Jedi Master Yoda Dual Saberist |

Exactly, they were stomped by the JAA in quick fashion. No need to mention them as part of our history. That's why the JAA is dead, while the Chewbax0rz Clan lives? |

Quote: This is awesome, although there do appear to be some works of historical fiction in there. Do tell. I tried to be as accurate as possible, and although I didn't use references (because the wikia lacks the reference template), I tried to make sure everything would be based on things you can look up in some way or another. The JA controversy sections might be... controversial, i guess, but I tried to stick with as neutral a depiction of events as I could (like R2D2 did for the first section).
A minor detail is missing in that article though and I'm working on amending that. _______________ Find out more about the Jedi Academy Aurochs here and more about Masta here! Married to Kain. |
