1. Half Life Series
Valve games rock 2. Left 4 Dead 1/2 So awesome it needs its own separate entry 3. Operation Flashpoint / Armed Assault (1/2) / Day Z Real shooting, survival and tactics. Loads of fun 4. Battlefield 3 Jets, Tanks, realistic sniping, funny in general 5. 1. Morrowind 2. JK: JA 3. Hitman 2 4. Shadow Warrior (hell, all Build engine games) 5. Red Dead Redemption (captivated me in a very rare way) Top 5 of the month? 1. Dishonored 2. XCom 3. WoW: MoP 4. Guild Wars 2 5. Chivalry: Medieval Warfare God it's so hard to come up with just your 5 favourites. As Alex said at some point this top 5 priority changes from day to day. If I was to do a comprehensive list it would be in the hundreds. This is super hard to do, because many games on different systems have touched my heart one way or another over all my years of gaming.
I guess it is not really possible but I will just spit it out from the top of my mind without thinking too deeply (I guess that might be the most honest way). Here goes: 1. Final Fantasy 4 (Super NES) 2. The Secret of Monkey Island (PC) 3. Star Craft: Brood War (PC) 4. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (PC) 5. Final Fantasy Legend 2 (Gameboy) I can think of a ton more that would fight for these positions.
