Perhaps it is time to update the application form. Should not be that difficult, but surely needs some time from the administrator. It could also be set to automatic acceptation of applications that pass the bot test.
If the activity will be non-existant in classes and on non-passworded server, I guess TJA could go to its next stage. No classes, no server. Leave a message of what it was and what it is now. I suggested this about 2 years ago, but nothing was ever decided. Oh I also suggested giving Dash either access to new applications like a year or so ago, but I got the impression it was either impossible or they just didn't want to. It might have something to do with the application form not having one of those checker things (e.g. what does this picture say?), and the genuine applications get buried under spam.

It would. A lot.
Also, Open JKA has fixed the allow downloads exploit. You can now turn allow downloads on and people will not be able to download your server CFG. That exploit has been fixed.  |

New server! 109.200.4.68:29070. Same password as usual. Massive thanks to Huxley for this, and also Martyr who helped (or practically DID) get it running with the right mod.

Bad news. Multiplay has decided to stop running Jedi Academy. Apparantly they only had 3 other people needing it 
Huxley says he is fine to go with someone else though so hopefully we should have something up again soon. Oh and another thing. Anybody who cares about this place, and is happy it is still going owes as massive thanks to Huxley. He has been quietly paying for and running our servers for probably 10 years or more. He hasn't even played the game since 2004 and yet he pays out of his own money to just let us still play. Simply saying that as every server I have seen listed is down. Did I mention I have DDOS protection? Game crashing fixes? Etc Etc. If you guys do not have your own stuff now, you can borrow this. Is paid for, will be paid for, and you can Rcon or Super Admin. |

Yeah. I can install with no problems, too, so it appears to be a client side problem for you, Astra. If Zachry's solution doesn't help you, you could try to uninstall JKJA (make sure everything is removed) and then install it again cleanly. I can connect just fine. Maybe it's some kind of mod or downloaded content conflict? Try checking your base folder for any unnecessary or recently downloaded pk3 files and put them into an other folder then reconnect. That way you can quickly make sure if that's causing your problem. _______________ Always striving to be better. |
