The time has come where I will see just how much I have learnt from the experienced people here and hopefully repay them by passing what i have learnt onto a new generation. So, I am offering to take on up to two unofficial padawans. [one position taken] I am able to teach saber duelling and power duelling (nor force). I am able to teach the basics of duals and single and go into more depth with staff. The requirements: Timezone must be GMT 0 or +1 or similar, I will not take anyone on who i dont see regularly on the servers. A good attitude and a willingness to learn and teach others is essential, this will be more in the nature of friendships and sparring partnerships than a formal master-padawan relationship. A man is known by the company he keeps and with that in mind how a person conducts himself is the key. I think i speak for everyone when I say that nobody will take on someone who lames, swears, breaks the rules or is unpleasant to be around. So, only ask if you're serious about it and you think you will learn something, there is no point in me trying to teach you something you already know or you pwning we around the matrixes Find me on the servers, IRC or my profile and we'll sort something out. This thread is for people to READ and see if there are any JAK+ who would be willing to accept padawans.. don't expect them to suddenly run around and chase them up as most are quite busy. seek out Masters who share similar interests. or if there is something specific you wish to learn. find who can help you with it and post on their profile. I'd say most of the academy check the forums.. but more people just check their profiles for messages.. take your time and find out about a master before you ask to be a padawan.. _______________ .Lag Bro to Xanatos. ***bump*** The time has come again where I am taking another couple of students as padawans.. *swats random students with rolled up newspaper* don't be silly.. I'm not going to take you on as padawan if I NEVER see you online the same time I am. This is a choice in a lifetime but not one you can easily waste.. A chance to become a Spadey like Henkes and Angel. What I'm really looking for is someone interesting in making Demos. Thats right. a long forgotten art of setting up and making a demo via the console in jedi knight: jedi academy. The person or people I do add as a Padawan will have completed and passed three tests. when you pass you will get a Kitty treat.. First.. Place a nice comment upon my profile saying what you wish to learn and why you wish to learn it. Second.. Catch me in IRC. (I am always logged in, but getting my actualy attention will be the challenge. Don't spam me or you will go to the bottom of the list. Thirdly.. and most hard challenge. Catch me on the servers. maybe if you ask me really nicely in IRC I'll go on and we'll see what happens.. but of all Be Patient, don't insist.. and YES I do have spies working for me and keeping an eye out for you and your behaviour.. and final ... I have an opening for a Padawan. My time zone is GMT-5, and I am generally on between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and midnight my time (that's 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. GMT). I specialize in single sabre. I'm looking for someone with a good attitude who is eager to learn. Here's how this works: If you're interested, approach me first on the server. If we don't actually see each other on the server, then the time zones will not work out anyway. My e-mail and AIM ID are on my profile and these are good means of contacting me, but I want to see first that you're both active on the servers and active when I am. Please understand that I can't take everybody, and don't expect an instant decision if you ask me. My criteria are attitude and eagerness to learn. I teach the basics of basically everything My specialty is Single and duals.
