Hey guys,
Well I got some time on my hands now so I thought it’s about time I take on a Padawan or two and pass on some of the knowledge that I’ve learned from this place. I’m mainly a single saberist and tend to use a hybrid style of all three stances but with a basis on yellow. I live in the UK so someone around GMT time will be preferred unless you can get on at the times I’m around. The requirements are as follows: -Need to be active on server, IRC and forums. -Be highly motivated, patient, a good listener and want to learn. -Have a good attitude and a respectful manor. -The ability to speak English to a reasonable level. -Be interested in learning single saber. -Be interested in all aspects of the game, force, guns, movement, game dynamics etc.. -Wants to have fun I’m willing to consider anyone of any skill level If you wish to be considered leave a message on my profile or MSN me and we can have a talk. Alright, I just made up my mind and selected a pair of people to become my latest Padawans. Welcome to the world of the purple-cyans, folks!
I've gotten several replies, if you haven't been taken on, don't worry. I would only take on two, which I did, but it doesn't mean you'll never become anyone's Padawan. I've seen a lot of good Padawan material out there 
So yeah, my store's closed so to speak, I'm pretty much packed with a total of eight. It's not said it's indefinate but certainly for now, I won't be taking on any more. For all of you still looking for a master, feel free to post in the other thread and/or ask JAK+. There's only a few of us so I can't guarentee anything, but it's always worth a shot. I'm looking for somebody who is looking for instruction in the unique style of my gameplay. I would cover anything the student would be willing to learn, as well as provide humorous stories about "the good old days". I don't take gaming super seriously (I mean, it's about having fun), and those who are like OMG I NEED MASTER FOR PROMOTION OMG OMG OMG need not apply.

Im in the market to take on a padawan. Must be Active and dedicated player who wants to learn to play competitively. Much Preferred if s/he is from the US
I can teach the intracasies of both staff and single lightsaber at a high level. However I would prefer if the applicant was most intrested in the Staff lightsaber since that is what I consider my "area of expertise" and I look forward to passing along my personal style. Preferable if applicants have a good working knoledge of the game already so I may tutor you styleistically rather than starting by teaching fundamentals. however this isn't required. Hey folks,
though I've got a few padawans already, I think I can manage taken on a few more. I've held back some of you lately, because I wasn't sure if I'm gonna be around to finish your training. Well, it seems like I made up my mind, lol. I'll have two more spots. The requirements are as follows: - Being interested in learning pure yellow; - Wanting to learn about the Light Side of the Force; - Have a decent activity (at the servers); - You should have a good attitude. There are a few other requirements such as your namecolors, which we'll go over if you're at all interested. Just dropping by to post that i'm now willing to take on a couple of students as my Padawans. So basicly i will be on the lookout for potential canidates. If your intrested in becoming my Padawan contact me at IRC/MSN or seek me out on the server. Info My timezone: GMT+1 Saber type: Single (Red/Yellow stance) Force-side: Light/Dark Heh, i'm mainly a standard saber user. Who uses both the strong and medium stance. I am also willing to accept a unnoficial padawan at the current time - I am teaching from basic to advanced in single, and i can also teach staff. I would rather not take a full staffer. but someone who uses both is fine. Even though i have exams this year, i hope i can work around my exams ((because rl > jk)) - You must be NEAR Gmt, so you can get on reasonable times to me. - Willing to learn. I am willing to take one unofficial Padawan.. If anyone would like any training from me then post on my profile about it with your contact info.. I'd like to meet you on the servers so you can get to know me/and i can get to know you (in-game also). Im willing to help anyone on the server in any case, just grab me when im around. My Timezone: GMT -(5:00) a.k.a. EST Saber type: Single (Red/Yellow stance/Blue) I use One Saber, and I use all three stances, ill only be able to train using the Light Side of the force for the time being (tho I must warn you, im not Extremely skilled with it). As far as times im available.. Sometimes I get on at random times, but im more then willing to schedule training sessions and whatnot. Here's what I'm looking for in a padawan: -Highly motivated and dedicated -Active - Must have Some* knowledge on how to move and swing the way they want to -Respectful -Patient -Good attitude -Good listener -Peaceful demeanor -Willing to learn and consider new methods taught to him/her -The ability to communicate in English effectively -Uses AIM, MSN, or TS -Likes to have fun (Copied and pasted from R2 good post!) -Xan~ _______________ This comment was edited by Xanatos on Sep 20 2006 08:47pm. |
