Yesterday i went on the servers and Vanidard tried to start an army with officers and all.....i found it an interesting experience when he did do it. Following this event i wonder if I should have the idea to start a Jedi Academy Army kinda like the Republic Army...huuuum.... Link, I see the same problem within our army, but im hoping that it will be the opposite, and we have a short on saberists instead... I know Van, I was just being a smartass  Here's my ideas of weapon classes. Trooper (Basic/Standard): Uses Rebel Soldier or Stormtrooper model, wields an E11 Blaster Rifle in battle. Infantry (Higher class trooper): Uses red Rebel Soldier or Stormcommander model, wields an Imperial Heavy Repeater or Golan Arms Flechette. Heavy Weapons (Workhorse of the ground troops): Uses a blue Rebel Soldier or black Stormtrooper model, wields any weapon of choice, most prefered: Rocket Launcher. Commander/General (Leader of ground squadron): Uses ??? or Imperial/Officer/Commander model, wields weapon of choice. Medic (Optional, only if gamemode is TFFA): Uses model of choice as long as it aligns with his/her team, wields Bryar Blaster Pistol or E11 Blaster Rifle and equips a lvl. 3 Team Heal. Combat Engineer (Optional for any gamemode): Carries DEMP and provides assault sentries, inquistors, and stationary shields for all around purposes. Sniper (Best used in the rear line): Uses any model as long as it aligns with his/her team, wields Tenloss Disruptor Rifle. Hope that's a good list _______________ Luke Skywalker

Luke, in essence, that's what were saying...I had a thought of in our army, if we even have one, should have, for example.. One Platoon of Heavy Infantry (Rockets,Repeaters) One Platoon of Snipers/Light Guns One Platoon of Saberists So, Pretty much, it is what you call a merging of Sith/Imperials and Rebels/Jedi, because saberists and gunners are together, at least the way i see it and think it should be run (Again, if we have permission TO run it :confused But im only one voice of Flash Auron And I right now... _______________ -Vanidar Silverleaf "No no no, you're moving way too slow." |

Ahem, NEW Jedi Order And here's what I think. Jedi should be allied with Rebels and Sith should be allied with the Imperials. Basically if you're a lightsaber wielding player, you would be either Jedi or Sith. Rebels or Imperials should pretty much be all guns and all that, we should look for as many models as we can for both sides. We could use some sort of Rebel Commander of some sort, all they have is a standard Rebel Soldier so far. _______________ Luke Skywalker

Well, army's in the real world aren't fun. But it could be fun to have different army's in the JA and to either fight on other servers against non-JA (field trip) or fight eachother on a server. What we should whatch it won't take forms like. "TSSSSS, you're in that army, jeez, you're a loser". Maybe, or maybe not, Luke... Is the dark side clouding your senses? Kronos, we're going ahead with our own plan. We're not going to neccisarily be an 'Alliance' army. We're going to be our own; ie the 'Jedi Alliance'. It's not going to be rebel vs Imperial... Not like the movies, you're getting the wrong picture. Me, Vani, and Flash originally invented this whole idea... It was our intention to make like an open-ended RPG. We're going to make the army that we want to make, in our own way... It will probably combat yours. This isn't a bad thing, though. It will show you who to promote, demote...(Once Again, these ranks are PURELY for RPG purposes, nothing to do with the JA ranks WHATSOEVER, the ranks will be squad leader etc, and will be of our choosing ) I'm posting about it now...
