Okay about time I edited this thread after 1/2 year of life. Can you imagine SW if there was only the Dark or the Light side??? It would *definitely* _STINK_! However, which is more powerful? I think it's the Dark Side: => More Jedi fall to the d/s than Sith/Dark Jedi go to the l/s (MANY more) => Look at the duels (in the movies). You see the Sith being calm (prolly fighting more than one Jedi) and the Jedi being ready to shit on themselves  => The d/s force powers are offensive (used to kill  ) whereas the l/s force powers are defensive. And we all know the best defense is offense  => NORMALLY, when some Jedi fights a Sith the Sith has the Force Power advantage. Not many Jedi can absorb D/S Force Powers. They must be really trained, and that's unusual. OK Yoda is the force beast (I mean he handles the force like no-one else can, hmm, maybe like Palpatine, just maybe, but prolly a bit more) so he was really cool defending against Dooku's force powers. But, see, Dooku was less trained than Yoda in the Force and still he could attack him alright without losing (lightsaber fight is something else, not concerning the Force Sides). So as you can see less trained D/Sers can beat the hell outta a Jedi using the force alone  (don't include Yoda eh)=> And well, after seeing the movies, haven't you noticed how much cooler the Sith are than the Jedi?  ******BTW: Who wants to see a Yoda VS Palpatine fight on ep3!!!???****** _______________ Your friends of today, are your enemies of tomorrow. LIES! Light side is 747819347912 times pwn4g3r than Dark Side. If I put on absorb, and you come at me with your ridicolous lightning/grip, I'll rollstab ya like never before! Besides: All of the greatest sith turn to the light side in the end! Just look at Darth Vader! And need I remind you who pwn3d teh imperials several times and won the whole war in the end? This is such a tuff question. Generally, d/s padawans can beat l/s padawans, cuz the d/s can be "learned" quicker. Yoda, however, owned Dooku, and had Dooku not through that huge pipe thing at Obi1 n Ani, Yoda wudda killed him. This makes it appear as tho the the force in itself is not stronger on either side, it just depends on the user. The thing is, none of ^ matters. In the end, Luke brought Vader back to the Light, Vader then defeated Palpatine, and the Light Side won. The d/s may have been kickin the crap outta the l/s, but the final score is all that counts. You see it when you plays Jedi Knight too. Dark Force can be useless against light force if the person using LF is good at wielding it. The Dark Side has more powrerful ?ofensife?(how do you spell that) powers, if I think about it, it HAS the ofensive powers. I think that the D/S is slightly more powerful, and easier to use. look at all the decent duels. Qui-Gon gets owned. Obi gets angry. Obi owns Maul. Anger, d/s Obi-Wan gets owned. Anakin gets angry (well sort of) Anakin gets owned too. (bad example) well in Ep 6 Luke is like, uber rage/ angry/ acting queer, when he defeats Vader. I conclude that the d/s is more powerful, because it is easier, whereas a fully traning jedi master, such as Yoda owns the sith. -Aiden |
