You dont need to edit the demo system it will record 100 demos each with diffrent file names be4 they start to overight. About the music it can be done if:
The server isnt pure (There allways are) The server has the music in the same directory. Or its your server

By Mouse forward and back, I can only guess you mean the mousewheel?

here's my questions.....i use mouse forward for force push, mouse back for pull, mouse button 4 and mouse button 5 for other force powers....i also use alt and caps lock, what do i type for those? thanks

Okay, everyone. Here's the thing. Look in your gamedata/academy and gamedata/academy_new folders.
You may have an autoexec.cfg in either of those. If so, then when you're in the academy servers, it's going to use one of those (not sure which) instead of the one in gamedata/base. Delete the auotexecs in academy and academy_new. Now JO will only read the one in gamedata/base and everything will work. If theres something drastically importiant in either of those other autoexec.cfgs, make sure you copy the lines out of them that you'll still need. Do not copy the entire file over the one that came with the JA script, just cut/paste the lines you might need, or once again, it won't work. As far as errors in the script itself. Well, the ModelView is a bit tough to use. Yes, I know it basically requires you to be running your own server, and have cheats enabled. But well, JO has this remarkable ability to deny that anyone running a listenserver is really the admin, so turning cheats on in MP on your own lan, escapes me for the time. Anyone know where/how to activate this, I'd like to get some good dynamic screenshots of a couple of my skins. _______________ spirit's searing pain battlefield of broken glass fallen speak to me --Charon |

Everything else works but the Emote Selector on my computer.
On the KP END and PGDN it shows in upper left corner =sit= =sit2= and so on, but pressing KP DOWNARROW results in a error message and the taunt doesn't start. cmd amsit unknown //or something like that |

Trad uve installed it wrong if its not working. One u unzip it take it all out the jas folders and the stuff u need to be putting in the base folder is the jamenu folder and the 6 cfg files _______________ - CoRRUPTioN |

some problems:
i exec autoexec, DEL, nothing happens. i exec ja_defaults, then movememnt and sch, but nothing else (such as saber/taunt/music/ selectors) work menu won't load (can't exec jamenu.cfg) ect ect all in all, unless i get it fixed, it's a complete waste of base-folder space
edit: when i exec ja_defaults it automatically runs, i don't have to press DEL. _______________ Well then. Just so you know, just because I don't post often doesn't mean I don't lurk this place multiple times every day... This comment was edited by Trad Redav on Jan 13 2003 07:35pm. |

Installation Steps:
1) Extract all files out of the folder to the base folder. 2) Open ja_defaults.cfg in Notepad and make sure you set up EVERY KEY to your personal default settings. This includes all emotes. (ja_defaults.cfg is activated using the DEL key, I suggest you dont edit that. )
3) Next, edit the ja_info.cfg, again in Notepad, with your name. Running the Script: 1) When you log into the server, type \exec autoexec.cfg in the console. 2) Hit the DEL(delete) key and that will load the script. 3) Use the default keys for the menues: Jedi Academy Main Menu - f11 Jedi Academy Other Rank Menu - f12(JAK, JAT, JAC versions only) 4) Some of the functions of the script are loaded silently. These functions are: Chat Selector Saber Color Changer Emote Selector Music Changer //*********************************************** Chat Selector: Binds the U key to toggle through chat mode, Y key to select and start the chat mode. //*********************************************** Saber Color Changer: Binds N to change the color of your saber on the fly. //************************************************ Emote Selector: Use the Keypad keys END and PGDN to toggle through emotes, and Keypad DOWNARROW to execute them. //************************************************ Music Changer: Use keys LEFTARROW, RIGHTARROW to toggle through music, Use DOWNARROW to play track. //************************************************ _______________ Get busy living, or get busy dying. |

well i did everything it said, and it didnt work, i put all the files in my base folder, and when i got in game i pushed the del key and it didnt work |
