this is how i see it LUCAS believes hes emortal and has ever lasting life so he believes why not make the movie 4 every age group so he throws in CHILDREN and the dreaded jar jar binks the only child i should se in star wars is Anikin i dont have to see ne other type of child other than him but no LUCAS throws in jar jar to make it more famliy friendly(his slick way of gettign more money cause of all the familys paying 4 the movie)if he SCREWS up episode 3 by NOT killing jar jar(in a HORIIABLE way)then he must be sniffing chalk cause what hes tryin to say JAR JAR can outlast a jedi its liek LUCAS lost all of his writing skills when it came to episode 1 cause it doesnt even add up to ep 4-6 plus he gotta CRAM alot of things into ep3 ughh I HOPE he doesnt screw this 1 up so in short JAR JAR should have never been created in the 1st place I hope like chewie kills him or sumthing(cause they say hes in it )lucas needs to get heart burn or sumthin just to learn from his stupidity _______________ Sister to Smily,Axion,and CT Friend to ALL... If that happens, Ep III will make megabucks as people go to see it again and again and again just to see that. Seriously, though, in Ep II everybody was happy there was so little of Jar-Jar. But did you notice that, not only was there less of him, but what there was of him was toned down considerably? Most of us had that instinctive, gut-wrenching reaction of utter revulsion when he first appeared on screen in Ep II, but that was because we remembered Ep I. If I had never seen Ep I, I don't think I would have found him the least bit annoying in Ep II. After Ep I came out, I e-mailed a friend telling him what I'd like to see at the beginning of Ep II: Jar-Jar has one of his zany accidents, only this time it's much more serious, and he actually cuts of Anakin's hand, thus explaining the cybernetic hand on Darth Vader. Anakin is so furious that this is what pushes him over to the Dark Side, and he kills Jar-Jar. Or maybe this: New footage to be added to Episode IV--In the scene where Vader interrogates Leia, he decides at the last moment that even the torture robot is not cruel enough and locks her in a cell with Jar-Jar, whom he has kept prisoner all these years. _______________ My signature is only one line. Because I cling to the hope that Lucas isn't going to royally screw everything up. I like the prequels but they're not great and they're nowhere near the standards of the original trilogy. The fact that in order for Lucas to have comedy in the Phantom Menace by having Jar Jar step in shit proves what kind of comedy he was sticking in. Ewok's have always been a pain in the a** for me. Is it very realistic those little teddybears can stand on a log and throw stones at the stormtroopers, thereby killing them, without the stormies blasting them away? I doubt so. Jar Jar's "humor" is too sought (sp) to me, he's trying to be funny, which in my opinion makes him very un-funny. |
