The NofrikinStyle Class has (finally) been Restructured! For those of you who didn't know, NofrikinStyle is my "All About Heavy Stance" Series. I give my take on key parts of Heavy Stance, and try to improve everyones Heavy usage.  Class will be held in Three parts, Tuesday-Thursday at 10 pm EST. Part One: Introduction to Heavy Stance, The 7 Basic Swings, Combos and Swing Breakpoints. Part Two: Basic Duel Movement, Quick Aim Adjustment, Primary forms of Evasion, Attacking and Evading. I forgot, if you want to see my classes in writing, they should be in an upcoming section of the JA Holocron. Hopefully this will reach those that I just couldn't get with my schedule. |

Well guys, with JK3 out, it seems most interest in classes has dropped to a minimum. So, rather than taking 0-1 students in every class, I've decided to cancel all morning NofrikinStyle classes, as well as Heavy Stance Dueling Advice. Now I will only be running the 10pm NofrikinStyle classes, Tuesday-Thursday.  |

I have the new and (Hopefully) improved NofrikinStyle Class descriptions up and tentatively scheduled for 10am and 10pm EST. Times will change if better times can be found, but for now, thats all. |

Good news everyone! I'm using my vacation time to finally sit down and reorganize! The class will remain in 3 parts, but all content has been reorganized into a more logical order. Hopefully, you'll be able to stop into any of the classes without needing to attend a previous "Part" to follow along. Also, I believe I will be eliminating the Heavy Stance Dueling class (Currently held on Sunday) and will integrate it as an exercise in Part Three, rather than a class all its own. Dates and times are still TBA. Below are some options... I'd like to see some input here! (All times are EST *i.e. -5*) Possible Times for the early class: 10-11am, 11-12am, 6-7pm Possible Times for the late class: 9-10 pm, 10-11pm, 11-12pm Off-Limit Times: Monday-Thursday 12am-6pm, 2am-10am, Friday 2am-10am, after 12am, Saturday, Sunday before 4pm PLEASE give me some input on what times will be best for you! |

BUMP I need some ideas for a new NFS stucture. I'm thinking of boiling it down to a 2 part class so it fills the hours a bit better. I'm also considering dropping the part 3 Heavy Stance Tournament as it usually ends up quite sloppy due to uneven numbers and the like. If I boil it down, it should make a good solid hour of theory, facts and exercises in the 2 parts. To do this, I'll also have a written record of what to go over in class, making it a little more organized. I may also be dropping/reforming the Heavy Stance Dueling Class to pick up where NFS leaves off (Or maybe reiterate some of the key points of NFS), rather than an on-the-fly tips session. Any other ideas? |

Anyone have any suggestions for NEW classes to add to the current list? I'm fairly certain double-duty on my current classes won't cut it. Eventually, I'll Probably Re-design the class to be a 2 hour back-to-back Class. Maybe then it won't be quite as intimidating. That will also free up some time for other classes. |

There! Schedules are finalized. (For now... ) I now have 4 classes at 5pm and 4 at 10pm. (2 of each class on each day.) All 5pm classes will be held on the NL server, and all 10pm classes will be held on the Classes server. Sunday - Heavy Stance Dueling Tuesday - NofrikinStyle: Part One Wednesday - NofrikinStyle: Part Two Thursday - NofrikinStyle: Part Three In Heavy Stance Dueling, Hardwired is my assistant at 5pm and FaDed will assist me at 10pm. That just about covers it. I hope to see some people at each class, or I may have to reschedule again.  |

Well, I've given up and decided to post an extra series at 5pm EST.(All times listed in this post are EST.) This makes 2 of these a day on Tuesday, Wednsday and Thursday. I'm also going to create a 10pm version of my Sunday Heavy Stance Dueling class, and switch the 5pm class to the NL server. Bear in mind, I wake up around 12, and I'm in RL classes from 1-5pm. I tend to stay up until between 2-4am as well... Any ideas for better class times? *Also, I'm not entirely clear on something... For those of you not in the US, are the earlier times better? After all, you guys are the reason I'm trying the 5pm class on the NL server, though I'll probably get mostly American students. *EDIT: I just realized I can't do the 10pm Heavy Stance Dueling class until I find a suitable helper-monkey. I'm thinking of changing schedules on these classes... Anyone interested in the class, please post times you think would be ideal for the class. Heh, so far the majority says everything is in order! Also, I may as well point out that Part One can probably be substituted by Silk's Heavy for Dummies class. Heavy for Dummies is held at 7 pm EST on Wednsday. *Theres the plug Silk* Now... I've gotta think up the content of Part Three. Parts One and Two are fairly tried and true, so I think they'll move along fairly smooth. For the first couple weeks though, expect a couple rough spots in Part Three. |
