Beleive it if you want, all I'm saying is you'll be very dissapointed If you really cannot LIVE without the thought of a saber torch, find a modder to make you the official 'Saber Torch Mod' _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side |

If they manage to make a /real/ torch out of a saber hilt, and making it believable, then I must say, those people have some extraordinary skills. |

if they make the saber into a real torch ill eat my own mousemat. _______________ The real question is not whether machines think but whether men do. Bertrand Russell http://www.thejediacademy.net/forums_detail_page.php?f_id=970 |

Yeah lol what ur saying makes NO sense at all |

yes the battery power drains, but thats for your goggles, it has nothing WHATSOEVER to do with the lightsaber. Please trust me on this, just stop and listen to yourself, are you serious ??? _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side |

That is what I thought when I saw it Sorry, it is ion the PCUser mag. It is not out at the news agency any more. So I can't get you a direct quote. But I guess time will reveal this... I am still convinced. IN sp of JK:2 When you use the higher difficulty levels your battery power can drain EXTREMLY FAST if you go high anough. |

You do still have light amplifying goggles and i dont think lucasarts would do a stupid thing like but a torch on a saber _______________ "Size matters not, for the Force is my ally, and a powerful ally it is." -Jedi Master Yoda |

Ok, to at least try and settle this... I was walking home through a very rough area of my home city, when a cloaked gentlemen beconned me ito his hovel. Mormally I would have run a mile, but he forced be through the door using an invisible grip around my neck. I was faced with several pasty teenager all drooling and hissing "My Preciousssss", whilst playing some sort of video game! I look closer, and low and behold, it seemed to be the leaked beta of Jedi Academy! Of course, I immediadely tested the game to see if it really was the 'real deal'. Convinced of it's genuinness, I made my excuses and left, with the intention of reporting the criminal activity to the local Law enforcement representatives. unfortunately having arrived home, I realised that I remembered with crystal clarity, everthing about the game itself, but NOTHING about the people or location I had been taken!!! I searched again for several nights after that, but to no avail... But, do you want to know what stuck with ne the most about that game I glimpsed? There was not 1 single torch, torch/sabre, sabre/torch there.... Funny I'd remember something as specific as that eh?? The light that the lightsaber gives off in jk3 is a good amount. |
D@RtHM@UL - Student |
Yeah man how. What your telling is the same is if a rocket launcher can turn into a bowling ball :S Show us the part of the Magazine that says that and we will tell ya what they mean by it |
Jake Kainite - Student |
Look I don't even know why you're thiking this way, its makes absolutely NO SENSE and WILL NOT HAPPEN. They've either made a mistake (noy likely) or you've misintepreted it (very likley ) If you can post on here a DIRECT quote from the magazine, we're try and figure out where you've got confused. _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side |

If you guys want to be as stubbourn as rock nuts then that is okay bye me. About the touch it comes out of the bottom of the saber. See the magazine for yourself. |
Jake Kainite - Student |
Think about it hoenstly, how would that work ? The sheer idea that you even think its correct is laughable. A lightsaber is a lightsaber, its a weapon, thats what it does. It can't shoot, it can't make coffee and it CANNOT be turned into a torch!! The lightsource it gives off however, can be used to light up the area around you, at least in the game... _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side |

no no no no no. *sighs* The light illumination has reverted back to the same as it was in the original Jedi Knight. You lightsaber, when activated, glows around you and gives off light, thus meaning that you can see in dark places. In JKII thisd is not so as there was a large argument about whether lightsabers gave off light in the movies.... _______________ Apprenctice of Jedi Master Ascari (deceased) Descended from a line of great Jedi Will argue any point of view from any side |

I live in tasmania Australia and i don't think we have the same mags. I don't remember the name but it's front page had it all over it. At the local news agency i think |

Cool! Which mag, I'm after any old tidbits I can get on JA!!?? http://www.thejediacademy.net/forums_detail_page.php?f_id=1802 All I'm saying is that a far more recent beta has been made public since then, and I've not heard anyone mention lightsabers 'avin a dimmer switch!' _______________ "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" Bhagavad Gita & J.
