Guys, I got a new comp. I needed one. (my old processer was a measly 348mhz pentium II lol!) Now I got a big'ol Athlon XP 2400+ (2ghz yay!)And the motherboard on this computer (i put it together by buying the seperate parts) supports DDR RAM. plenty of it   So basically you will no longer see me complaining about how "my frame rate is too slow" and no longer will you hear from me,"I didn't stand a chance cus this room is filled with people and my frame rate sux" AND in 4-5 days I WILL HAVE ADSL W00T!-W00T! so you won't hear "my 56k is crap" "this lag is awful" "etc" lol _______________ JK2 pwnz0rs JK3. |

Congrats! For Flash's birthday, I bought myself a pentium 3ghz (800mhz FSB) with 512 MB pc3200 (dual channel 400 mhz) DDR ram, with a MSI 865PE Neo2 motherboard and a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra 256 mb card. This system is gonna scream! But I also bought it with upgrades in mind. Later this year or early next year, as my system starts to becomes less bleeding edge, the MSI board has overclocking capabilities which I will use to overclock the FSB and will buy some overclocking ram like pc3700. I'll also overclock the processor (maybe) and I'm already going to overclock the Geforce card (i bought the eVGA card which has been rated the best for overclocking from what I have read). I'm hoping this system will serve me well for at least a couple of years before I get upgrade fever again. PS. Sometimes it is good to be an old man with a good job. my computer is a Gateway windows XP,with a Gforce 4 Nvidia graphics card,flat screen monitor,laser mouse,DVD player built in,DSL cable connection surround sound speakers... oh AND automatic updates meaning when upgrades come i DL'them and the computer tells me when i need to.Nortin anti virus and fire wall Intel pentium 4 processor. 2.52 GHz and 1.00 GB of ram.
