Edit 2: Apparently, I can't pull myself away from the ENTIRE SITE! LOL. I guess all the support I have recieved held me down.  I don't mean to lay my burdens on everyone, but thanks for the support...don't worry about it, though. I don't think I need any support nor did I ask for it. I guess I'm sticking around now, so you all can celebrate. LOL. I really did think I could run from the JA. Boy, was I wrong. Well...I haven't really QUIT, but I have slacked off a LOT. This forum is now kind of...half and half... It's about me leaving the JA, but it has turned into a discussion about me and my girlfriend. That's fine with me. But that doesn't drop the fact that I will leave soon. For now, I'm on standby until something good happens, so I'll post in this forum for now.______________________________________________ Edit: Now for my original "goodbye" message... I've had two names at the Jedi Academy. I was Sladious before I was Ale-Daramos. This is because I took a long break from playing and my account expired. Now, my friends, I believe it is time for me to leave for good. As the usual messages about leaving say, life has pulled me away from the Academy, but it's much more complicated than that. I believe this calls for a little explanation. First of all, I have wasted too much of my life on video games and I have quit playing them without even realizing it. Now, I feel as though I need to make up for my lost childhood I should have spent with my friends outside. I have sat around too long and I now regret the last 14 years of my life. I began playing the Atari when I was 2 and I was addicted sense then. I'm 16 and I QUIT! I don't HATE video games, but I don't find them as fun as life. On another note, I have school almost all day now and I have no time for games. I need to study and find a way to earn money so I can move. I need to get my permit and learn to drive. I need to make things better for myself. Last, but most certainly not least. I would like to move to Tennessee as soon as possible. Why, you might ask? It sounds typical, but the story is too complicated to explain here. There is a girl in Tennessee that I feel like I haven't been loyal enough to. She needs my help and I need hers, but we're over 9 hours away from each other. Yes, it sounds typical, but it's the fact. I love her too much to stay behind and do nothing. If I really love her, I will do anything to get to her...and that's what I'm going to do. If you have a problem with any of this, feel free to complain. I don't plan on visiting the site again, so don't expect a response. I may have not been all that popular, but I still have to say sorry...so I'm sorry I'm leaving, guys. It's something I need to do. I can't say that I'll miss you guys, because I won't. Nothing against anyone, but I really care too much about my girlfriend to care about anything or anyone else. This sounds silly, but your post got the last song from "Grease" stuck in my head (we go together like rama lama lama di-dangety dang de-bop). There was a guy at one of my old jobs who moved out to Mississippi where he hew noone except the girl of his dreams. We all told him "dude youre a freakin' idiot. You'll be back in a month after you go insane." That was 3 years ago. AFAIK he's still there, married, and having the time of his life. So good on ya for going. Try and have some manner of school and/or job lined up when you get there too. True love is cool and all, but living under a bridge with your true love isn't.  Good luck to ya. Visit sometime. ACK...I have something ELSE to explain. heh. By mentality, I mean maturity. I've always been told that I act older than I really am. I believed this because I always HAVE acted older. (One thing about me: Things happen fast to me. I adapt to situations easily, I catch on to things quickly, my mood can change quickly, and my "mentality" changes quickly.) I recently discovered my flaws and have fixed them. I was more immature than I thought, but I never realized it. What I meant by my mentality changing quickly is what has happened to me. My personality has almost changed entirely since I met Tiffany. This shy, quiet, depressed, video game addict has turned into an outgoing, happy, video-game-deprived guy. Oh, it's QUITE obvious that this is like a big family. I have realized that you all care about me, which I really appreciate. Currently, I am safe. As for being happy, I am, but not really. I'm generally happy, but it's that pit in my stomach that clenches when I think about my girlfriend, and it won't go away.  On another note, I have SOME bit of info I can share. I said I've been depressed for 4 years, no? Well, I think I did. Well, for those 4 years, I felt very little emotions, if any at all. Sadly enough, I didn't cry when my grandfather died. I felt so little emotion that I had to ACT like I was a normal person. I felt tormented for a long time...I even resorted to trying to cry, but without success. 4 years...same thing. Now Tiffany jumps into the picture and pulls my feelings out of the gutter. Mr. Roboto is now Dr. Feel Good. _______________ Wanna know what my name means? Heh, we may not know your situation, nor do we want you to tell us against your will. We're just looking out for your saftey. As *strange* and *confusing* it seems, the JA IS accually kind of like a family, we all look out and care for each other.....even though it's only a video game that brings us together and most of us don't even live anywhere near eachother.....but that's besides the point. Hello again. Yes, I do not want to release the details because they're personal. Most of the details I won't release involve her life, and I will NOT do that to her. If anyone is wondering, I have no other choice but to do this. If I gave up and stayed away from her, I would suffer much more than if I can get there. Heh...Katan. I'm not quitting video games because of her. I'm quitting video games as my own personal improvement. Not to say that I think you should all quit playing video games. They're fun and I think that they are a great way to kill time...they have even taught me many things. Like I said, it's a personal opinion. I have more things to worry about...LIKE ANIME! YAY! I spent $45 on anime today...and $15 on a Good Charlotte CD. My girlfriend got me interested in Good Charlotte. Aeth: I may be 16, but I have the mentality of an adult...or so I've been told. Apparently, I keep checking this forum. I just don't like the idea of you all not wanting me to go for this. Thanks for the support, guys. But I have one more thing to say to Ash. Don't worry, I'm not ranting this time. Thanks for the advice and all, but I can't take it. This is MUCH more complicated than I have explained, so you don't know the details. I don't have a serious crush and it's not with someone that's oblivious about it(I don't know if that was your situation). I have no crush, but a serious LOVE. We both love each other, so neither of us can leave. I know this for fact because I have really loved a girl before, but she did infact leave. I thought I couldn't love a person more...then I met Tiffany and she proved me wrong. I may be only 16, but I've experienced much more than you think. I've tried and tried to prove that I don't love her as much as I thought, but I can NOT prove myself wrong. No matter what I do, I can't stop loving her. I may be repeating myself now, so I'll stop here. Sorry if I WAS ranting, but I can't help it. Thanks again for your advice. I can tell that you don't want me to ruin things, and I appreciate that.
