Edit 2: Apparently, I can't pull myself away from the ENTIRE SITE! LOL. I guess all the support I have recieved held me down.  I don't mean to lay my burdens on everyone, but thanks for the support...don't worry about it, though. I don't think I need any support nor did I ask for it. I guess I'm sticking around now, so you all can celebrate. LOL. I really did think I could run from the JA. Boy, was I wrong. Not possible...really not possible.Edit: Apparently, I can't pull myself away from this forum. I suppose I'm a little addicted to the site at least. Well...I haven't really QUIT, but I have slacked off a LOT. This forum is now kind of...half and half... It's about me leaving the JA, but it has turned into a discussion about me and my girlfriend. That's fine with me. But that doesn't drop the fact that I will leave soon. For now, I'm on standby until something good happens, so I'll post in this forum for now.______________________________________________ Edit: Now for my original "goodbye" message... I've had two names at the Jedi Academy. I was Sladious before I was Ale-Daramos. This is because I took a long break from playing and my account expired. Now, my friends, I believe it is time for me to leave for good. As the usual messages about leaving say, life has pulled me away from the Academy, but it's much more complicated than that. I believe this calls for a little explanation. First of all, I have wasted too much of my life on video games and I have quit playing them without even realizing it. Now, I feel as though I need to make up for my lost childhood I should have spent with my friends outside. I have sat around too long and I now regret the last 14 years of my life. I began playing the Atari when I was 2 and I was addicted sense then. I'm 16 and I QUIT! I don't HATE video games, but I don't find them as fun as life. On another note, I have school almost all day now and I have no time for games. I need to study and find a way to earn money so I can move. I need to get my permit and learn to drive. I need to make things better for myself. Last, but most certainly not least. I would like to move to Tennessee as soon as possible. Why, you might ask? It sounds typical, but the story is too complicated to explain here. There is a girl in Tennessee that I feel like I haven't been loyal enough to. She needs my help and I need hers, but we're over 9 hours away from each other. Yes, it sounds typical, but it's the fact. I love her too much to stay behind and do nothing. If I really love her, I will do anything to get to her...and that's what I'm going to do. If you have a problem with any of this, feel free to complain. I don't plan on visiting the site again, so don't expect a response. I may have not been all that popular, but I still have to say sorry...so I'm sorry I'm leaving, guys. It's something I need to do. I can't say that I'll miss you guys, because I won't. Nothing against anyone, but I really care too much about my girlfriend to care about anything or anyone else. LOL, guys. Pron is possible, yah...but only after we're 18...LOL. But, that's a joke 100%/all the way/entirely. We're both too strong in our religion to break our beliefs. Edit: AND it's just WRONG! Your plan is quite acceptable, methinks, but I agree that it will be QUITE hard. Heh...I don't plan on working at McDonalds EVER. I'm not going to settle for a whimpy, flimsy, minimum wage job. I would settle for that if it meant helping Tiff...but she doesn't need my financial help yet, so the need isn't there. And, Kueller, your advice HAS been the best advice. I didn't expect DJ to agree with pron...he may be joking, but he didn't add a smiley or anything. He's making me wonder now.  Overall, it sounds like you have a decent plan in mind, but it's a tough plan to stick to. At first, I felt really rash about it, but I've been maturing really fast lately...it's weird. Like I said before, things affect me really fast. In the past few months, I've changed from immature to more mature than my 21 year-old brother. HEH...that's not hard to do anyway. LOL.I hope things work out better for you and whats-her-name. Feel free to talk about it on this thread...though you apparently DO feel free to talk about it. I may have problems of my own, but I've discovered recently that I'm more selfless than I thought...not selfish, selfLESS. I care about people's problems too much. I agree taking risks is the only way to really live. You need risks, life isn't gonna give you anything if you don't gamble for it. And yeah, money sucks, it really sucks. We have enough money (my parents) and it always makes me feel guilty to toher ppl who don't got the money. And Ale, it maybe sounds a bit stupid, but... maybe you should wait until september to move in with her. It would be very hard, but it shows everyone you have got a grown up mind. Who knows how hard it is to find a school there, if that goes wrong, you'll end up selling happy meals all your life with McDonalds. What I try to say, I know it's frikkin hard, but plz wait until you graduate, it would ultimately only benefit you. If it is true love, it will last that much longer. Write eachother often, get a job and maybe you can spend a month there to get to know her parents while you're still "living" and studying at home. Tell me if this plan would be acceptable, it sounds reasonable to me. But I'm not the one who has to wait My love for her started while I was helping her out, I don't know. If I help ppl with all my heart it's almost impossible for me to not fall in love if it's a nice girl. I hope that if she decides she doesn't want a relation with me, she would still allow me to help her. She is so far gone, it's really scary. If I stick around, I'll graduate this coming spring...BUT I DON'T WANT TO WAIT THAT LONG. heh...we'll find out how things go as they go.YEP! I'm going to lose SOMETHING in the process. I've come to terms with it quite easily. I'd walk out of this house with nothing but the clothes on my back if it meant getting to her. I'd leave my parents and my brother to get there...I'd abandon my friends...ACK. I sound quite mean. That's one of the things that caused Tiff and I to get so close. Just to quote a few things that have helped me. When I read you where short of money somethign really WRONG came into mind, you know it's joke so I'll continue: You 2 lend money, get together and make a lot of tapes where you are "happy" to see eachother again. Then you sell them at the high prices dirty guys these guys pay for such video's. And problem solved!!!! MOneymaking can be fun with the women you love. yes Ale I KNOW you're not even thinkin about that, just needed to lighten the mood a bit. I honestly don't know how you gonna get the money, it's a shame your parent's don't have much too. I don't know how long you gotta be in your school to graduate. If it is next year, you just maybe could wait till you graduate and then go to a university (or whatever) near there. The chances of this are maybe slim, but it could be a sloution if a lot of things work out. You know, I am nearly forced to say something that really pisses me off to need to say that: It's gonna be a lot of pain. No matter what way you choose you're gonna lose something I think. I think you realise that, and that's why you want to go to her, because if you're gonna get burned you wanna get burned NEAR her. If her parents don't have problems with you living with them, maybe you could move in with her (I don't know how you are gonna afford the trip). One thing I want to stress out for you is this: keep as many ppl as you possibly can on your side, it will help. And think long and hard on everything, make a list of pro's and con's. With that info, deciding things is somewhat easier. I hope with all my heart that you will see her again soon. Especially now I know again how it feels like to get the feeling that you might lose her. My "girlfriend" (whom I met 5 days ago) has asked me for a week off, without visiting or seeing her. It's hard, very hard, I fell to hard for her, shouldn't have done that but can't help it. Well, I don't want to tell you what to do, but I wouldn't make such a rash decision, not at your age. I think following your heart is good advice, make sure that you listen to your mind as well. Do you have a way to support yourself? Do you have a "Plan B" if this doesn't work out? You shouldn't just blindly go into this and hope that everything works out, give it some REAL thought! I didn't vote because I may have a solution (not a good one). When there is a big vacation, meet halfway (so each of you travel 4.5 hours) and spend a week together in a beautifull place. Start saving money. If you make the week together, tell your parents, I think you can work things out with them if you start the situation reasonably. What helps very good is trying to understand why they want it or not, so you can play into the objection and good points of them. If you really want to book succes, offer a lot of own initiative and only ask their permission. It works well, and maybe they will help pay when they see how serious it is, and that you're still doing school well. I have talked to her about plans, but our plans are risky, because those are the only plans we can find. The problem is nobody in our families knows anything is going on between us and we're afraid of what will happen if we spring the news on them. Although I think I'm more freaked about the possible results than she is. HOWEVER, I'm loosening up about it. I realized that nothing good will come of this if I do nothing. It's better to take the risk and see what happens than sitting back and worrying about it forever, but I can't do anything stupid. Heh...it's all too complicated. Things need to simplify themselves a little, but I need to do something for that to happen. Edit: We chat on AIM every night for hours, so I have that part covered. Sounds like you have things worked out pretty well for you. Cherish your time with your girlfriend. You live with her, which is something I would LOVE to do with Tiffany, but...alas, I can't. Before my gf *finally* moved in with me we were long distance for a few years. I'm in Dallas and she was in Austin. We made a point to talk on the internet a LOT and visit each other every 2 weeks, alternating who goes where every week. It worked for me, and I'll probably marry this girl. Thanks, Axion. Good Charlotte IS good. It's not that she got me interested in that type of music, I just never really listened to Good Charlotte to know I liked them.
