I've been thinking. Darth Vader and the Palpatine were supposed to hunt down and kill of nearly all the jedi. But what about Mace Windu? I mean, in the Star Wars Visual guide, it says that he trains in saber form VII the highest form. It nearly boarders on sith style. As well as the book saying he's the best lightsaber duelest in the universe. So what happened to him? Did he die? Or just disappear? And if he died how? Personally, if he died i think it would be because he scarificed his life for another. Chewie was killed in Vector Prime by a moon crashing into Senpidal. That would be the lamest thing ever. I would commit suicide if Mace Windu got killed by the death star. That's almost as bad as how Chewie died. Well, I remember an interview wheer SLJ said that he "would not be shot in the back by some little Fett guy." Something like that. He claimed he want to be "facing the guy, and he's gotta be clarly better than me." So none of the cheap Boba-shot-him-in-the-back theory. I think SLJ will get his way. There WAS a theory that he is the one that takes Leia to Alderaan, and looks over her there (much like Obi-Wan looked over Luke.) So, then, we ALREADY saw him die, when Alderaan got blown up. It would be just like Lucas to pull something cheezy like that. And then Vader/Anakin gets to kill Mace after all. But I wanna see Mace kick some ass, though. _______________ Jedi do not fight for peace. That's only a slogan, and is as misleading as slogans always are. Hayden portrays Anakin as he should be. This is how Lucas wants it. Jackson is playing the character to how he is scripted and directed. Jackson didn't invent Mace Windu or the script. Lucas isn't gona let someone ruin his saga by letting some mess up a character because of the color of his skin. So I think that little comment could have been left out. Point: Acters play the role as they are told, so when Jackson stresses a word or phrase, it's in the script. Everyone hated Luke crying like a baby but that was part of the character. Over time he came to be more mature. Hopfully in Ep.III Mace does some solo ass whoopin. Sup, I guess my point is I am tired of accepting things, it wouldnt be that hard to show Mace doing some solo ass kicking. Jackson's acting abilities have nothing to do with the character Mace Windu???????????????? You can be serious here, everything Jackson does on screen ( movements, dialect(sp), etc) IS Mace. Think about this Lucas picked Hayden Christensen, to be Anakin, for his acting abilities AND because he wanted the Anakin character to have a rebiouls look, a sort of Jame Dean quality, he (Lucas) says. To him That is what Christensen brings to the screen. Jackson does the same thing with Mace Windu. The way he talks, moves, and fights, are the 3 things that he is gonna do to define Mace Windu, and so far he and Lucas have done a pathetic job. I dont see how you can even try to deny that Jackson puts WAY WAY WAY to much emphasis, on the smallest stupidest little dialoge he is given. (btw none of which has done anything to aid the story) Basically, Mace Windu is a charater thrown into the saga, needlessly, to either give Jackson a part in Star Wars, or to take the heat off Lucas, about his "White" Universe. In Summary: Jackson is one of the most overated actors in cinema today, and Mice Windu could be cut from the star wars universe and it would do absolutely nothing to the story line (it would neither hinder nor aid it). Obi, Mace didn't get to be 2nd to Yoda by being weak. I don't think he'd be 2nd in command of the Jedi Order if he was weak either. Its a simple fact that he's an elite swordsman and very strong in the force. BTW Star Wars actingstyles are based on: Theater and Jackson's acting abilities have nothing to do with Mace Windu'd character. Summary: Mace Windu is Bad Arse! Sup, This is amazing. I dont know if there are books showing how "bad-ass" Mace Windu is, but you surely dont see that in the movies. Mce Windu is a freakin pathetic charater, and they picked a terrible person to play him. Example 1: At the end of EP1: Mace: "But which one was destroyed the master, or the apprentice" Watch this part again (really him in the whole movie but especially here) guess what u sounds like a retard, why because he over acts every line (all 8 he gets useless character) in the movie. Enough complaining about how pathetic he plays windu. Where do u ppl get that windu is such and ass-kicker????? He kills Jengo, wow Obi probably would have done so, if boba wasnt helping him, or if Jango's jetpack got messed up, right AFTER he was hit by the equivalent of a rhino. Obi-Wan is alive at the end also, he is a good jedi but by no means in the ranks of Yoda. TO summerize: In Pulp Fiction, Jackson has an over the top character where he is meant to put way to much emphasis in every line, and it works for him. In EP I and II, he does that same and looks like a freakin moron. How about this. After Anakin turns, he finds Bobba Fett. And he could get killed when the jedi academy is under attack, like he is with the other jedi in that big tower and it collaps.
