Duel Sabers: Not enough moves??

After checking out the features at the LA site I realized how bland duel sabers are. I mean the staff has uber 133t moves and hell the single always pwns. But hell, duel gets what, 2 unique moves? wtf is up with that?

Well i like the new power hits they added, the dual saber throw for dual whielding and a crazy combo attack for the staff and the single whielding. And they are easy to do.(all you have to do is press attack and second attack at the same time)and the foward+crouch+(release foward)+attack(do a sweet long combo and upper cut windwheels at the end) there is alot more than 2 or 3, i have done 8 so far. dual whielding is alot better in JA than jk2 if you ask me, they cleaned it up alot and made it where single has a change against staff and dual by more moves. I think they made it more fare for all the three choices, but that's just me.:D

staff pwn...

dual sabers: Good at defending against shots, but way to suxeh (not sexeh, but suxeh) when u fight a guy...

staff: ok (but not very good) against shots, but pwn ass when ya fight...

single: pwns ass anyway...

however, in the demo we can only go to Rank 2 of the force powers so we can't really know how good a saber is @ defending or striking...

plus, kicks are useful... u kick him, and then u strike him when he's down (can't remember the name of this move)...

i say this cuz i tried all 3 sabers...

QUESTION: how tf do i do that thing with dual sabers that u spin and there is like a circle (made by the saber) is protecting u... Not the one that u let go of the sabers and the spin around u by themselves... Then one that u also spin... It really kicks ass

there are many moves actually

and 1 new feature i like abt it is when u use a move 1 or 2 of ur force bar(total 4 bars) will drop and regen later

and this can prevent some players from keep spaming the moves =)

The "specials" of the saber staff are mostly the kicks.

- normal kick
- air kick
- double kick side
- double kick front
- twisting kick

There you go, 5 specials and they are more or less all the same :)

Still staff is my favourite. I never liked Anakin... Maul was way better.

Well I'm more concerned with eye candy than effectiveness. :P I mean I'd like to see some "holy shit!" moves. But they don't have to have uber damage.

the single saber is too slow sometimes, the double bladed saber...saberstaff isnt great for gunfire. its slow also. the duel sabers is fast and crazy. the moves it has, maybe not unique, but theyre good nonethe less. (its got the front and back, side and side, and the saberprotection thingy (thats good)).

I like the saber lock with the dual sabers. while your locked with one you let the other swing around behind you to kill the guy, very nice.

Well that bites! That means you have any less moves in single saber mode than the staff and Dual sabers, cuz they don't list moves with force for the Dual sabers and Staff. :(

Its most likely a move for fighting with force Bandit. They wouldn't put force into duels.

Can anyone answer my question? I don't know if anyone has been able to actually duel or not. I just got the demo today...

erm wtf are you talking about whispy ? In JKII each stance had ONE special move (maybe two if you count the backslashes)

The new saber system has a good 2 main 'special moves' per thingy.

The double stabs are a bit too much. You don't use them enough I think. Maybe they are very good for power dueling. I'm looking forward to classes about double saber styles. I'm playing a lot with it and getting to feel like it's natural

guys i think u will find that u can do force pull onto an enemy so he falls to the floor at ur feet and stab him in the back.
most of the single saber moves also work with the duel saber but i agree we do have less moves. but we have a great forward defense and i think it looks alot better than the double much more finese

I noticed with the single sabers you can use a pull force/slash move. I didn't see a description of a force combo with the double blades or the staff.. Does this mean with a single you can use the force combo in a duel????
Anyone know?

Double sabers SUCK. The only good move is the windmill :) The rest have too many spins.

The staff is really good, especially with the kicks.

but just the fact that you've got two sabers is quite good, you can always use one to defend yourself, further the dual saber has got some specials who are supreme for ffa's. it's not a duel style thou....
