I will try to respond to your problems and questions as soon as possble. Sorry I cannot answer any Mac question I haven't touched a Mac in years.. Edit: I have now expanded into helping with programming issues too  (C++ stuff only though) (This has been a Paid Service Annoucment.) Ok Here's a post with some usefull links. I will keep updating this as needed. If you don't know about this site and you are a Windows User you need to know about this. This site will patch your os with any of the bugs in any Windows OS. http://www.windowsupdate.com A good piece of software to have. This will scan your computer for any kind of spyware that any freeware or shareware program that you download and install. http://www.lavasoftusa.com or you can try spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html *NOTE* Don't have both installed or they will say each other is spyware. I like spybot better. A good free anti-virus program.. If you don't have a anti-virus I recommend you do. http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php This site is good for information on ISP's(Internet Service Providers). It alos has a great little toolset for testing your internet connection and the forums are helpful for tweaking your pc to get the most out of your connection. http://www.broadbandreports.com Do you have windows XP or 2000 and a great video card? Seem to be stuck at about 60FPS, even though you say like com_maxfps 120? Simple fix http://www.ryanmh.com/files/reforce.zip is a fix for a Windows Bug that locks your frame rate at 60 fps when you can get higher. All you do is unzip that run it, click auto populate, hit Apply and reboot and boom FPS allover the place _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. hey Orion. got some Qs: 1. Sometimes when my crappy windows XP Pro boots up, it gives me a message about a file called "Program" on my C drive. It tells me that it might interfere with some programs and so it is best to rename it. WTF is that about and where does that file come from anyway? 2. Some dude over at microsoft decided to annoy the heck out of me by inventing the language bar. That thing on your taskbar that comes with office (i think). Well anyway, I want it gone. So I right click on the taskbar, go to toolbars, uncheck "Language bar", and it's gone. But wait, it doesn't stay gone. When I restart my machine it's back! I recently purchased a 128 mb mp3 player and some CDs I have ripped are encoded in 320 kbps so they take up a f*ckload of space on my mp3 player is there any program I can use to um degrade their quality so they dont take up as much space. the system drivers are not saved all in once spot, its best to look up the device name in your Device Manager (Right click on My Computer, and Device Manager Tab) and then go to the manufacures web site download the latest drivers and burn those installers to a disk. _______________ When a Man lies he murder's some part of the world. I know my opinion doesn't account for much but I think it IS the screen I had a similar thing (well, kind of) I had just bought a brand new video card and about after a week my screen automatically set my resolutions to 680 x <something> (too lazy to check) and it wouldn't allow to be reset to 1024x782 I brought my pc in (without screen, because off course, it should've been the pc )The fellow at the store couldn't find the problem turns out something was just wrong with my monitor Damn it Maybe this is something like this too! _______________ Visit the Belouve Family Website!
