Since the incident of 9/11, one of the worlds most famous question is... "Where were you at 9/11?" ...and may i ask the many, MANY people of the Jedi Academy to post and say where they were at 9:13am September 11th. ------------------------------------------------- "My heart goes out to all friends and families of the victims of 9/11. 9/11 was tragic...but I see your tragedy, and raise you a question. What if it didn't happen in America? What if it happened somewhere in Asia, or Africa? I seriously doubt it'd be remembered now. Nobody remembers the Locherbie bombing, for example. Most people who do remember barely care anyway. See what i'm getting at? I don't mean to sound insensitive, what happened was TERRIBLE...but I just think people need to realise that things like this happen ALOT MORE than you might realise. It's because it doesn't happen in America, that it isn't exactly headline news. |

Well, I was at home, watching TV when suddenly all the channels switched live to Cnn and stuff. and it scared the hell outta me, I could barely believe it. Neither could my mum. We were both just shocked/stunned. I had to go to school that afternoon and my english teacher she was crying about what happened so I didnt really get any classes. ugh *hates political debates* I was at my bf's house (Koyi) sleeping when his mom came in and told us what happened. It was my day off from work. We got up and drove down to my house which was about 30 minutes from where he lived. We listened to the car stereo and watched TV to see exactly what happened. We both pretty much didnt speak that day because that attack was SOOOO close to home living in NY and all. That and i live about 15 minutes away from a major power plant that could melt us and NYcity in about 60 seconds. I was scared! REALLY SCARED!!!! Then later on i kept hearing of people i knew that died in the WTC. Now i know the USA is FAR from perfect but you gotta admit that what the terrorist did to us was wrong. Need facts to back that last thing up man. "innocent ppl died because of some cowerdly n00bs who can't afford to get a good life of their own without killing thousands of others." That is a very ignorant statement. I just heard something from my dad... he said there was only 1 main terrorist on each plane. The other 4/5 were sub terrorists. they thought they were going to get a ransome of money or tell everbody to fly to a different country. but that wasn't the case. all the terrorists stood up and identified themselves to each other. they got up in a group and walked somewere in the plane and had a little talk. then they broke out. the 4 sub-terrorists got their guns out and told everybody to shut up or something or they would shoot. the main terrorist got into the cockpit and took out the pilots. he got the controls and pushed them down so the plane would crash. the other 4 terrorists didn't know they were going to die...thats pretty sad aswell. why? your saying. well, its because they were virtually innocent aswell. yes, they were terrorists, but they never knew they were going to die! they were innocent to death, but not to the society of the USA. 1 of the most sickest things yesterday. All the Iraqis' in the UK and Iraq put posters up of the WTC on fire and all the terrorists. and another thing, here are a few facts about the WTC and 9/11 1. Some sick minded old idiot decided to have a joke and take a photograph of somebody on the top floor of the WTC and place a fake plane in the background as if it was heading straight for them 2. Only 1 of the WTC's were insured. They say it was a billion to 1 chance that both buildings, if any, would collapse. Boy, were they wrong 3. Is this a coincidence? Get the 3 no.'s, 9/11. now take out the / and what do u have? 9-1-1. The Emergancy number for the USA. Ok, i posted this thread and i'll tell u where i was... a fire drill was initiated and we were all on the field waiting to be registered. We were all regisitered. Then our form teacher said "A plane has been hijacked in NYC" I was only 11 at the time (12 3 days later) and i didn't understand what hijacked meant. well i did, and i thought it meant that some guy got a plane with ppl on and landed in SAFELY somewere unknown. So i got home and turned on CNN and i was 100% crushed...i mean, innocent ppl died because of some cowerdly n00bs who can't afford to get a good life of their own without killing thousands of others. Anyway, it took me a few days to get it into my head that ppl had been killed. I know thats wrong, but the way they died, it scares me just thinking about it. I watch the video over and over again, every year, and try and think what i would of done...well...the truth is, i can't imagine. its to much of a wrong doing to think of. i mean, who would agree with me here? Your working with all your friends and u look out the window. maybe its your bithday, maybe ur having a good day, then u see, a plane, coming straight to YOUR own window. there is nothink u can do. If u watch it carefully, its like its false. its like a computer game, but its not, its reality. thats what most ppl think of, but how about the passengers on the plane? they knew this so many minutes before the rest of the WORLD! Now can u imagine that? once again, u can't. its so devistating that i can't even think about it without it blanking out my mind. and 2 more things. firstly, if somebody came to u on the street and asked you "What comes to mind when i say 9/11" Well i know the answer to nearly everybody here...The World Trade Center attack. But if u hadn't noticed that wasn't the only thing that happened then. The Left diagonal of the Pentagon was hit, 1 plane crashed into somewhere in nowere. 4 PLANES WERE CRASHED THAT MORNING! WITH OVER 3000 PEOPLE KILLED! NOW I DONT BELIVE IN THIS 1 LITTLE BIT AND IF YOU DO YOU MUST BE A SICK-MINDED OLD FOOL! and another thing. what would happen if the planes hitting the WTC's didn't hit the 101st floor but..lets say..the 52nd! imagine that. but wait, u can't, its too terifying. thank you for reading, and plz, keep posting your views of 9/11. _______________ - Even if Carlsberg made "w*nkers", Christiano Ronaldo would still be the biggest "w*nker" in the world |

I was sitting in english class... my principal came on the PA and explained the situation, and immediately the televisions in all the rooms were on. The whole day all we did was watch news coverage of 9/11. This is another of those events that everyone will remember what they were doing. Your parents will remember what they were doing the day JFK was shot... and their parents will know the day the japoneese bombed pearl harbor.... My heart goes out the loved ones of people who lost their lives as a result of theese cowardly terrorists..... To quote president Ronald Reagan "They can run...
